Today, Thursday, the exchange rates of the dollar jumped against the Iraqi dinar in the Iraqi markets.

The selling price of the dollar was 156,200 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price of the dollar was 156,000 dinars per 100 dollars.

It is noteworthy that, on December 19, 2020, the Central Bank of Iraq officially announced the adjustment of the exchange rate of the US dollar to be 145 thousand dinars for every 100 dollars, according to the state’s general budget for the year 2021 approved by Parliament.

The correspondent of (Baghdad Today) said that "the prices of buying and selling in exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad recorded an increase, as the selling price reached 156,750 dinars, while the purchase prices reached 155,750 dinars per 100 dollars."

On Thursday, the exchange rates of the dollar against the dinar witnessed a slight decline in local markets in the capital, Baghdad.

The correspondent of (Baghdad Today) said that "the central exchanges of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya in Baghdad recorded an exchange rate of 156,250 dinars against 100 dollars."

"The buying and selling prices in exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad recorded a decline, with the selling price reaching 156,500 dinars, while the purchase prices reached 155,500 dinars per $100," he said.

The correspondent of the Noon News Agency said that the central exchanges of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya in Baghdad closed at an exchange rate of 156,000 Iraqi dinars against $100, while the prices this morning were 155,850 Iraqi dinars against $100.

The reporter of the National News Center said, "The central Kifah Stock Exchange closed in Baghdad at 157,200 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars, while the prices this morning were 156,100 Iraqis for 100 dollars."

He added, "The buying and selling prices in exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad rose, as the selling price reached 157,500 Iraqi dinars, while the purchase prices reached 156,500 dinars per 100 dollars."

Shafaq News/ The U.S. dollar (USD) exchange transactions against the Iraqi dinar (IQD) surged in the markets of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Sunday.

 

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the USD trade opened at a rate of 157200 IQD to 100 in al-Kifah and al-Harithiya Central Exchanges.

 

The USD in Baghdad's parallel markets is traded at selling and a buying rate of 157500 and 156500 IQD to 100, respectively.
