Remember, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... :twothumbs:RON

*** Mnt Goat   The currency windows are now counterproductive to Iraq and is the problem not the solution. We all need to realize this and the Central Bank of Iraq does already realize this too. So, this gives us assurances that we are close and this reinstatement, our real goal, is close at hand.

*** Kaperoni  The concept or idea of a significant RV of the Iraqi dinar goes against every principle of monetary policy. There is no chance the central bank would ever significantly RV the Iraqi dinar. Central banks in general make money off the buy/sell of their currency. If the dinar was ever going to go up in value the central bank would do it gradually so they could make commissions off the buy and sell as it appreciates.

*** Nader From The Mid East ...They can't even vote for president...come on....The real thing is in July.  If July, nothing happened, nothing is going to happen.  So be patient.  Hang in there and we'll see what's going on.

*** Pimpy  Article: "The deadline for choosing the President of the Republic and expectations or the intervention of the Federal Court." Today was a deadline and there's no president.  They can't get a quorum going.  I was wondering what the courts are going to be able to do - It looks like we're going to find out here pretty soon.  But yeah you have to have a stable government, stable economy...outside investors, foreign investors who are interested to go into your country to invest in it.  All these things are taken in consideration [for a new exchange rate].  We're getting there but not as quickly as a lot of us would like...

*** Godlover  Article: "Iraq is awaiting a decision from the Federal Supreme Court regarding the constitutional vacuum" Quote: "The Federal Court is awaiting the political consensus between the conflicting blocs to find an agreement after the month of Ramadan to form the next government and choose the President of the Republic.Yep...Because Ramadan is very sacred to them & they do little to nothing during that holiday.

*** Mark Article: " A legal expert reveals a surprise: The caretaker government in Iraq can send the budget to Parliament." What we are getting from Iraq and a financial expert….is the caretaker government can send the budget to parliament...How this works is when they had a real constitutionally set government that had approved this budget…This was before elections and all this caretaker government stuff... In that budget they had approved the numbers and even approved the rate... So they are saying they can go ahead and implement the budget now with no need to wait…We are hearing they may send it tomorrow, over the weekend or early next week...

Well, as negative as some of the pooru's are, I take it as good news.  I have heard for years, that there would be a lot of bad news to try and get the investors to get out.   I think good things are about to start happening!   I will personally be ready!  :praying:
