Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh responded today, Saturday, to "the impudent statements of US President Donald Trump against the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Khatib Zadeh said, in his tweet, through his Twitter account, that "the Iranian people will not be intimidated by the arrogant and impudent statements of the defeated and lawless US regime," according to the Iranian "Fars" agency.

He added, "Our people will not hesitate to take any action to defend their pride. We are the ones who choose the method of responding to the crimes of the United States, including the insane interdiction measures and the treacherous assassination of the martyr leader Soleimani, the number one enemy of ISIS."

US President Donald Trump, during a live radio interview, sent a message to Iran, warning it not to "manipulate the United States of America." "If Iran messes with us, if it does something bad for us, we will respond with things that have not been done before," he said, expecting Iran to conclude a new nuclear agreement with the United States if it wins the elections on November 3.
