You're welcome. My daughter is on Plaquenil for Rheumatoid Arthritis. She works in the medical field and told me this and I was able to confirm it with this article.

The US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, arrived today, Monday, in an unannounced visit, to help save a historic agreement that Washington signed with the Taliban at the end of February.
 

Political differences in Afghanistan and the ongoing violence hinder the implementation of the agreement between Washington and the Taliban, which was reached last month.

The plane carrying Pompeo landed in Kabul to meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his political opponent, Abdullah Abdullah, who also says he is the country's president and rejects the results of the recent presidential elections in which his opponent, Ghani, was officially declared the winner again.

This was confirmed by a spokesman for the American forces in Afghanistan, Sony Leadgate, earlier that the United States began withdrawing its forces from this country, based on the agreement reached by Washington with the "Taliban" movement.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday criticized Iran for expelling a team from MSF.

In a tweet posted on his Twitter account, the US Secretary said that the Iranian regime has expelled a medical team from Médecins Sans Frontières who was working in a field hospital to help vulnerable patients with the emerging coronavirus.  He added that the Iranian people are the victims who suffered most from this system.

On Tuesday, Tehran prevented a team dispatched by Médecins Sans Frontières to help the country fight the new Corona virus from operating in Iran, and its members described "unwanted foreign powers" on Iranian soil, which sparked condemnation by the humanitarian medical organization, especially since the death toll from Corona In Iran, there are nearly 2,000 cases.

"Foreign powers and their presence is excluded"

For his part, Ali Reza Wahhabzadeh, an adviser to the Iranian Minister of Health, considered that, given the implementation of the national mobilization plan to contain the Corona virus and to cast all the medical capabilities of the armed forces, it is not necessary at the present time to establish hospital beds by "foreign powers", and their presence is excluded, as he put it.

 

 

This came in a tweet by Wahabzadeh, after the conservatives intensified their attacks in the press and on social media on members of the organization, accusing them of being "spies" and demanding that they be denied entry.

Field hospital and emergency team

For its part, the French non-governmental organization announced on Sunday that it had sent a 50-bed field hospital and an emergency team of nine people to Isfahan, the second largest city in Iran, with the aim of reducing "pressure on the local health system," according to Agence France-Presse.

The organization also denounced in the statement of the Iranian position after statements by the Minister of Health and the Iranian authorities' refusal to offer its help to treat serious injuries in Isfahan, saying that the position of the Ministry of Health came after two cargo planes loaded with all necessary equipment landed on Sunday and Monday in Tehran, and the arrival of its team consisting of Nine people to Isfahan, where he was welcomed by the local health authorities.

 

2077 Died in Koruna, Iran

The organization also expressed its readiness to transfer its mission and treatment capabilities quickly to another place in Iran or to another country in the region in urgent need.

On Wednesday, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced that the number of deaths from the "Corona" virus has increased to 2077, after 143 new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The number of deaths in the country rose to 2077, while the total number of injured reached 27,017 injured, said the ministry official, Ali Reza Wahhab Zada.

In addition, an increase in the number of people recovered after infection with the new virus was recorded to 9625.

Covid-19: A molecular testing laboratory opens in Baghdad

Iraq’s Minister of Health Dr. Jaafar Allawi today inaugurated at Baghdad’s Medical City a new molecular biological laboratory for testing for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in suspected cases.

Iraqi health officials say that the laboratory will contribute significantly to increasing Iraq’s diagnostic capabilities for COVID-19 which is a critical  factor in tracking the virus and to suppressing its transmission.

The laboratory is equipped with the latest testing technologies which were delivered to Iraq by the Government of the People’s Republic of China under the framework of cooperation agreements between the two countries.

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Iraq,  Mr. Zhang Tao took part in the inauguration ceremony.
