heads of the Iraqi Council of Representatives met to discuss five important files, most notably the provincial elections and the exclusion of Iraq from regional conflicts.

The statement pointed out that "the meeting dealt with the security situation and developments in the Baghdad belt, including the Tarmiyah area, stressing the need for cooperation between the security forces and the people to control security and prevent terrorist organizations from tampering with the security of the country."
