TRUDEAU CAVES: Trump Says Trudeau ‘Called Him’ Following US-Mexico Trade Deal

President Trump confirmed Wednesday that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “called him” hours after he announced the US-Mexico trade deal; saying the conversation “could not have been nicer” and that he “loves Canada.”

The Commander-in-Chief was speaking with reporters at the White House when he was asked to comment on Trudeau’s recent comments that a potential trade deal with the United States could happen by the end of the week.

“I spoke to him yesterday, we had a very good talk, I spoke with him multiple times,” said the President. “He called me, I didn’t call him. He was very nice, couldn’t have been nicer. We’ll see what happens, I love Canada.”
