We ban cannabis but let people eat as much meat as they want. That makes no sense

If our goal is to limit social harm, we should reassess what we allow and what we ration

Keep your cotton picking hands off what I eat. I am healthier now than I have ever been by not eating off the FDA Pyramid.

My insulin resistance makes the food pyramid a joke. I can't eat grains or sugary vegetables or my blood sugars go through the roof and I then become dependent on pharma meds to live.

Give me meat and fat and I stay off meds and feel great.

Another case of someone not knowing what they speak of and wanting to control people. :facepalm2:

Nothing against you Umbertino.

10 December: Human Rights Day

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights turns 70

"Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home -- so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. [...] Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere. Without concerted citizen action to uphold them close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world." -- Eleanor Roosevelt
