  1. Supreme Court halts Democrats’ access to Mueller grand jury …

    Chief Justice John Roberts on Friday put a temporary hold on the release of secret materials from former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation to a Democrat-led House committee.

     

    The order stops the clock on a lower court’s ruling requiring the Justice Department to turn over confidential grand jury materials underlying the Russia probe to the House Judiciary Committee.

     

    Justice Roberts’ order comes a day after the Justice Department petitioned the Supreme Court to temporarily halt the transfer of the materials. The Justice Department would have had to turn over the materials on Monday had the Supreme Court not intervened.

April Border Patrol Apprehensions Drop 84 Percent from Last Year

The apprehension of migrants along the southwestern border with Mexico during the month of April fell 84 percent from the same month in 2019. Agents apprehended a total of 15,862 migrants after they illegally crossed the border.

This will make some people’s heads explode.  Twitter’s stock price will be headed lower tomorrow.  Maybe FB, Alphabet, and Msft, as well.  I’ll be watching FB very carefully for a possible short.

I don’t remember the actual agreement for the online social media companies with the FEC but it’s something like as long as the site is open to all points of view with no censorship then they were exempt from the more strict regulations and I believe taxes.  By shadow banning, censorship, fact checking to the point of taking a post or tweet off the site these Giant Social Media Companies have broken their original agreements and purpose.  Time to break them up, reign them in, regulate them, tax them, or stop with the total domination of one point of view and the censorship of another opinion.
