BJinMontreal
You posted the votes - but didn't answer the underlying question: How long have they been in the Senate? A few months, a few years ... or I suspect - a few terms which does make them holdovers ... And these are ONLY mentions on Obummer Care's Screw the People Act Murkowski ... I see mentions back to 2009 McCain (the war-mongering Globalist who told his constituents he would vote it down to get elected) ... 2009 Lyin' Feinstein ... 2009 Harris ... Newly elected to the Senate Bennet ... 2009 Blumenthal ... 2011 Murphy ... 2009 Carper ... 2009 Coons ... 2011 Nelson ... 2009 Hirono ... 2009 Schatz ... 2015 Duckworth ... 2013 I guess I could go on - but I think you get my point!!!!

The real point was with control of the house, the senate and the white house, this Republican government is going nowhere. The bad thing is next time the Dems will pick up some seats. It's like watching professional wrestling... It's time for independents to make a run. it's time for voters to wake up and see the pawns they really are. Why do you have such a low regard for your fellow citizens? Is it a homeowners fault he owns items that a burglar steals? Is it a woman's fault she possesses body parts a rapist violates? If anything, it is time for civility, indignation and a moral stance by US to regain control of words; a rapist really is a rapist and a burglar really is a thief and their actions require immediate punishment. The same goes for elected officials and street activists. GH

And Trump will never get anything done until the Paul Ryans John McCains and Mitch McConells of the Rebublican party and all the other corrupt politicians whose interest in their pocketbooks comes before the people the represent, are ousted from office and replaced by Libertarians. And the Democrats have basically shot themselves in the foot by their backing of violent Antifa groups and are scrambling to pretend they never stood for them in the first place. The Dems will pick up seats anyway because they've had some time to perfect their illegal voting schemes. And as long as there is NO Voter ID law instituted in California and other key states - they'll use the influx of illegal aliens to bolster their support at the ballot box.

So they, the voters are pawns in the game of politics because they are either too stupid, misled, or uninformed to see they are playing along in the game and yes they are pawns while those in power stay in power by dividing voters on emotional issues instead of those that really matter. As for your points on criminal behavior... I completely agree we as a nation need to call a spade a spade. If you are a criminal, especially a violent offender should be doing your time. Just as bad are the white collar criminals. Has one person from Wells Fargo's latest criminal activity gone to jail? I haven't heard of any punishment other than a fine.
