Iraq regains 144 properties from France

An informed government source, said on Tuesday that the Iraqi government has completed procedures for the restoration of 144 properties in the French capital Paris.

The source said, L / balance News / "The foreign and finance ministries settled procedures of restoring 144 a property in France belonging to Iraq since the reign of Saddam Hussein."

It referred to the earlier report had confirmed that Iraq was negotiating with the Ministries of Economy and Foreign Frenchwomen on the restoration of real estate property belonging to Barzan al-Tikriti, half-brother of the deposed Saddam Hussein in France to the Iraqi state. It ended 29/42 g.

What is the over all value of these properties in the current French Real Estate Market? Does Iraq need to keep any of these properties for legitimate GOI usage? Can they sell these properties and use the money to pay down the deficits in Iraq? Would they do the right thing with the proceeds of all real estate sales such as these, or would they continue the corruption to the benefit of whoever is in power?

Thanks Yota...Everyone wants their vacation retreat up-graded at tad-bit...A coat of new paint, some new drapes, check for T/P and fresh towels in the bathroom and make sure the frig's workin' and has plenty of cold beer in it...
