Begay Leaves Democratic Party Citing Better Opportunities for District’s Education, Infrastructure, Employment Issues as Member of GOP

PHOENIX – This morning Chairman Robert Graham of the Arizona Republican Party enthusiastically welcomed Senator Carlyle Begay, who was elected as a Democrat to represent Arizona’s Legislative District 7 but today switched his party registration to Republican. He also joined the GOP caucus in the Arizona Senate, at an event held today at the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix. District 7 is the nation’s largest state legislative district by area and includes most of Northeastern Arizona including eight different tribal lands.

“My relationship with Senator Begay has grown over the years and I am so proud to see him join with our party so he can better serve the people of his district,” said Arizona Republican Party Chairman Robert Graham. “Republicans have proven to have a much more successful approach on the issues important to not just his district but all of Arizona, like education and economic prosperity, and I’m looking forward to working with him to improve opportunities for his community.”

Begay was appointed to the Arizona Senate in 2013 and was reelected in 2014. He released a brief video documenting his upbringing as a Navajo (or Diné) and his lifelong political journey and strong desire to better serve the constituents of his district.

Welcome to the republican party... the party of opportunity, of self reliance, of independence, of freedom, all of which have been proven since the birth of the party... It was the Republican Party that freed the slaves... It was the Republican Party that led to reunification... It was the Republican Party that modernized the South, allowing former slaves the right to vote and the right to own land... It was the Republican Party that gave Native American tribes more rights to the land they had and the traditions they held... It was the Republican Party that revolutionized the industrial revolution, making it safer, more affordable, creating millions of new jobs over the years. It was the Republican party that connected the East Coast and the West Coast with roads and railways... It was the Republican Party that gave women the right to vote... It was the Republican Party that created and passed every Civil Rights act of our history... It was the Republican Party that lead to the downfall of Soviet Russia, and the destruction of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany... It was the Democrat Party that declared war on the Native Americans after the Revolutionary War... It was the Democrat Party that cheated the Native Americans and lied to them... It was the Democrat Party that seceded the Southern states from the North... It was the Democrat Party that waged war over the ability to own other human beings... It was the Democrat Party that created Jim Crow Laws... It was the Democrat Party that fought against every single Civil Rights act of this country... It was the Democrat Party that lead our country into Vietnam... It was the Democrat Party that continues today to not only snuff the rights of Native Americans, but of United States citizens... Their party continues to deny the chance of individual success and self-reliance to the everyday US citizen... It's time to deny the democrats from taking anything more from America.

One thing not mentioned in this video, but essential, is exactly WHY has this only happened over the last couple years?

America has been around for over 200 years, HOW could it take so long to finally see?

WHERE is the source of this change?

It has been the stubborn, idealistic, constitutionally focused minority inside the republican establishment, fighting the collectivists from all sides that have been the driving force, ever since Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were each manifestations of the polar opposite doctrines for the purpose of the united States of America.

As mentioned in the video, it has been in the last few years that Americans, aware of the fatal divide, have begun to elect and install in Washington, DC, enough representatives to effect the change.

What isn’t mentioned, is that without an educated and enlightened populace, there would be no anti-establishment congressmen to fight the globalists in DC.

How did this happen?

Why are they there?

Who did this?

You did.

Each and every single individual that took the time to research, invested energy to oppose “status quo”, and helped elect and send a representative into the vipers den called DC, you are the reason we are seeing this change.

You are the difference.

You have the attention of the world, as you demand an end to the corruption, greed, and corporatism that plagues America.

Thank you, each and every one.

Take back your power.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Be Blessed!

I'm not ready for another recession.   :(

GO RV, then BV

Shabs: We are gonna have a recession all because of the economic policies of Mr Obama. Borrow, borrow, borrow, and let the next administration worry about how to pay the debt off. If all else fails, blame it on the previous POTUS. Never, ever take responsibility for a problem. Have Harry Reid table it, and make sure the intelligence gathered reflects the eco friendly decision making process.
