I was  thinking ,  did  the original agreement  have  more  money  in for the Kurdistan region  ?  thought  the  250 billion  was  short of the amount .... I may  have  my stories  mixed up on this one !  .........    but  if they are sending  real dinar currency  and  not  ,  electronic  numbers  too banks ,  we  should see the  head lines  "  dinar shortages  , cause  mad rush  too  trade  dollars in for dinars  "  of course , we  need the  value to move up  for this  to make  the headers !

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network ( IMN ) reported the Kurdistan Alliance MP Najiba Najib, on Sunday, to send the federal government 250 billion dinars to the region is the down payment, pointing out that the money placed in the region is calculated by the central bank.

 

She said Najib's ( IMN ), "The government has sent 250 billion dinars to the Kurdistan region as a down payment." Stressing that "the federal government sent a letter to the Central Bank to finance the region account 250 billion."

 

She pointed out that "the amount is not enough to cover the salaries of employees of the region, but the first step towards the payment of dues."Pointing out that "everyone is aware of the financial crisis and lack of liquidity in the country, and we understand the general situation."

 

The Ministry of Finance has decided to send 250 billion Iraqi dinars to the Kurdistan region, to pay the dues for the month of January last to staff the region.

This particular article rather puts away any nagging doubts I had over a LOP. If they were planning a LOP of the physical currency, they'd have to send even more than 250 billion to compensate for the LOP or else the Kurds would end up raged again being left with the money that was originally going to be sent of 250 million (250,000,000,000).  Seems to me they are trading amongst themselves in a 1:1 fashion now they just need pull the RV trigger and go public so the global markets can trade in the currency at the same level.

Ministry of Finance announced on Sunday that the cabinet face to borrow dollars from the central bank to fill the shortfall in staff salaries for the current month. An official source at the Ministry of Finance, said that "indiscriminate in financial data from most of the ministries and departments not related to the Ministry and the provinces, led to a shortfall in staff salaries worth about one billion dollars." Finance Committee in the House of Representatives welcomed the Federal Government's decision to send part of the share of the Kurdistan Region of the federal budget for 2015.

I consider the Commission's decision MP Ahmed Rashid in an interview for PUKmedia , that the decision of the Federal Government comes in the right direction and contribute to break the ice between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, and also connects the political, economic and security relations between the two sides.

MP Ahmad stressed that the decision to send part of the Kurdistan Region's share of the budget at this time defuse the crisis between the two sides.

On the other hand, MP Rashid said the committees formed by the Kurdistan Regional coordination with the federal government, will begin work until the return of ministers and deputies Kurds to Baghdad, pointing out that there is no time for the work of these committees ceilings, reaffirming the Kurdistan Regional Government's commitment to the oil agreement with the Federal Government .

One other thing to think about..the amount owed, shortage of cash..the amount IRAQ wants to borrow from the CBI..@ rate of 1166..The CBI can't print that amount fast enough to cover, what is needed...IMO
