This sounds more than plausible. When one reads the history of the US, you can see we have had our hands in many things around the world. As this directly relates to us, in order for this "notion" to work, the area of our speculation has to flourish. There was always a question as to our intentions over there by the Iraqi people. ...and this is my frustration with all of the slanderings that take place on this website regarding political leaders ie. President Obama.  people sit behind their monitors and keyboards and act as if they have full understands of "real" world events instead of the surface information we get through mass media.  and so we read posts like "o'stupider" and "o'idiot" and slanders for other members of government on a daily basis.  the truth of the matter is the majority of us HAVE NO CLUE about what is really going on.  and so we blame it all on the banking cartel or the rothschild or the president or whomever because of our ignorance.  

 

if any one of us spent one day as commander in chief at the white house, we would quit by noon because there is no black and white.  everything is grey.  for instance how do you tell the american people that in order for the country to thrive we must attack china's currency..... to attack their currency we must devalue our own.... if we devalue our own and you are holding cash, you will feel the pinch?  its all grey!  but people see the value of the dollar going down and say, "those idiots in the whitehouse are worthless monkeys.  all they can do is read a teleprompter."  REALLY?! 

 

and so it becomes more and more difficult to for me to hang out in forums because most of the stuff posted goes off in some emotional tangent without people doing any real study of the issues.  the day of true dialogue about issues is dieing.  where are the philosophers, where are the thought invoked, where are the engaged?  where is real discussion?  but who has time for that right when it is so much easier to slander and bash....because what real thought does that take....
