Always the same every year. Talk of a budget being passed by the years end but it always end up being passed in the end February .

This year the urgency of getting it done by years end banter started in July. This along with all the   Deleting the zeroes articles  which came out at the same time did not look good IMO.  It makes since to me that if they were to RD to do it at the start of the year. So a budget passed before years end would allow this if they ( and a big if )have the new notes and fils ready to distribute shortly after.  If they do they are keeping a pretty good lid on it as we have only heard descriptions of the new notes. A late budget means ( to me ) no RD for now. So we get another year of this.  But this also means If they are able to accelerate the use of the IQD domestically and improve the market rate we could some movement by the CBI. Just don't want to see it stop near 1000-1 . We need to see it increase beyond this!  A 1000-1 rate would simplify a RD..  But they really can't go to far with out those lower denoms.  Turki tells us they can back the currency X 2.5.  Seems to me that their Reserves are outpacing their money supply growth. But the numbers are not documented.  No records to be found on the reserves which are held in New York at the Fedreral reserve. Fun Stuff!
