European traders said on Tuesday that the Iraqi Ministry of Trade raised, once again, an international tender for the purchase of at least 50 thousand tons of white sugar .

The deadline for submission of tenders the beginning of September, and are required to remain in force until the 5 of September, traders said he can supply the quantity of any origin except Thailand and India .

Iraq was a previous tender for the purchase of 50 thousand tons of sugar, closed on July 22, with offers valid until July 28, and there were no reports of contracts after the tender.

Minister of Commerce: Sugar deal "Mercury" corrupt and Snkadhi the "racketeers"

 

 

 

BAGHDAD / obelisk: confirmed Iraqi Trade Minister Khairallah Hassan Babiker, Sunday, that the sugar which has been contracted to import it with "Mercury" is not in conformity with the specifications, according to a report quality control of the General Company for foodstuffs.

Babiker drew attention, that the ministry has "embarked on filing a lawsuit against the person who extorted ministry and a month," he said, adding that "the ministry is not concerned with the issue of the bombing of the ship."

The Ministry of Trade and signed a contract with Mercury ministry processing 100 thousand tons of sugar according to your specifications and quality control systems in the company of the foodstuffs.
