I went to nasdaq site and its is currently down at about 3 am - July 18th 2013 - Iraq said they were not going to work today because it was too hot ..... Earthquake on Iran Iraq border 3.4  - sounds like somebody is running out of good original excuses ....  The crap is thick right now peeps ......

Public Holiday Declared due to Heatwave

By John Lee. The Iraqi Government has announced that Thursday 18th July will be a
public holiday due to the high temperatures.
As a result, the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX) will be closed.

Don't hold your breath......just another day in the endless wait for the GOI to do the right thing.  If there was an earthquake in Tahiti, they would use it.
