Adam, please post something about this would sir.

Is this a joke? http://www.dinarregistry.com/

"...Protect Your Iraqi Dinar Investment -- A record of your Dinar Serial Numbers can protect your investment against fraud and counterfeit switching during currency exchange transactions. Dinar Registry allows you to make a verifiable record of the Arabic Serial Numbers on each of your Iraqi Dinar banknotes.

Independent Verification -- You can take an additional step once your Dinar Registry serial number record is made. You can have a trusted Attorney or CPA in your local area verify that the serial numbers on your banknotes match your Dinar Registry record, and you can have this verified record notarized. This record is your safeguard against fraud..."

Do you register your USD's or other traded currencies ?

Why do the GURUS want us to play with our DInar notes?

For my own peace of mind, I went ahead and scanned all of my notes (just the sides containing the Serial Numbers) just because if it is necessary to send off my notes for verification, that way at least I have a copy of all my individual notes and serial numbers. Probably not necessary but I like to cross my T's and Dot all the I's (Kind of a control freak in that way)

Caution folks. There is already a master registry that has all the serial numbers of all the notes and it's called the CBI. I am not encouraging any decisions here for we are all grown folks and make our own decisions but ask yourself why? Why would you want to register a serial number with a database that can be used for the purpose that it is inteded or worse, for ulterior motives? IMMHO and I think is a bad idea. I would not do it. Thank you for your post and the great find. GLTA and Go RV.

Just so you know, this Dinar Registry is owned by Dinarvet member CaptKeithP's brother. CaptKieth mentioned his brother in Hawaii at the end of his interview on asdf's show, go to the last 10 minutes to find it. (Sunday night show, Phoenix Rising)

Capt Keith told his brother about the investment and bro was concerned about sending your dinar off to be verified and it disappearing.

By the way, the interview was very interesting, CaptKeithP has led an extremely interesting life! Military, terrorism defense teacher, been in Vietnam, and Iraq as a contactor, shipwreck archaeologist, ship's captain, living in Peru and teaching ocean archaeology. Worth the listen.

Thanks, Farmall! I didn't even realize I was neg'd.

Maybe they thought I was supporting the registry. I haven't been to the website, so I don't know enough about it to make that judgement. My intent was only to pass on information about who ran the site!

MY two cents on this issue :twocents: This issue is very very interesting. It shows how SENSITIVE people are about their Dinars.

I think it was a shame that DinarAlert was banned from Dinar Re Caps for sending out an Internet Alarm E-mail regarding this issue. <_< I think Dinar Re Caps should reverse their very partisan decision. They are "for" a Registry for Dinar, DinarAlert warned against such a thing in their email. [To which I agree ;) ]

 But, Dinar Re Caps stepped over the line and showed that they aren't really online for the good of Dinar Investors but for the good of their own pocket book and their Dinar advertisers. If they have the integrity I think they are holding back showing  , I think they will soon restore Kaperoni and DinarAlert. ;) Though, I don't think Kap or DinarAlert loses out much by getting "banned" from Dinar Re Caps.

I've decided that I'm going to make scanned copies of my Dinar, print them out, delete the images, and be done with this issue until further intelligence about it arises.

Um, IT'S CURRENCY! I mean, let's use a little common sense here. This is like saying, When I cash my paycheck, I keep a record of the check number and then scan the cash so I have a serial number on all of my C notes that I ever get. hmmmm

I figure, IF they do need to send my Dinar off for verification, which I seriously doubt will be necessary, the bank will give me a RECEIPT. If they are not good to their word with that kind of documentation then WE ARE ALL GOING DOWN THE DRAIN.  SHEESH

Olivesman Agree 100% never have kept track of my money so why start now. When I win the Powerball I'll just take my money to the bank and the H... with serial numbers. Money is money. :shakehead: :shakehead: So why all the hoopla :)
