  1. I don't believe that the HCL actually being passed is the hold up. If it were a problem then why are members of Parliament working on pithy infrastructure laws and ignoring the HCL?
  2. It would be because we avoid reading these people on those other sites and he brings what we have avoided right in front of our face on your site.
  3. Millionday always moves it out about a month when his last window closes. So do the rest of his cronies (Gurus). In other words, he can't spell it let alone see it.
  4. I thought we weren't going to hear from TLAR anymore? Guess he is not a man of his word. Oh that comes to no big surprise.
  5. I sure Baghdad will send it to the Kurds ... "SOON". Wonder if the Iraqis ever get tired of that word as much as I have?
  6. My Bologna has a first name, It's O-S-C-A-R. My bologna has a second name, It's M-A-Y-E-R. Oh I love to eat it everyday, And if you ask me why say, Cause' Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A!!!! How's that?
  7. Adam will you please provide us with more than a quick fly by this Wednesday?
  8. Ditto GPCarter.... Thanks for the informative and concise explanation.
  9. With the number of trades that took place (954) I would think this to be a glitch or misprint, or bad data.
  10. According to some other people, the media is about three days behind in reporting the news about the war on ISIS, Dash and Al Qaeda. I know that they are making great progress in Iraq and only hope that the war is coming to an end. Most of the news sources that I visit consistently report on a daily basis about car bombs, roadside killings and suicide bombings. Perhaps this is mostly smoke. I wonder if life means so little to these people that they can't rise up after a loved one is killed going to the market? Or are they just so scared about these Terrorist groups that they let them do what they want in fear of reprisal?
  11. In 2010 I became a moderator Kevin. Thanks for your input. I think you are right that they will never have total peace but maybe it will be more on a level of something seen in the west. At least peace and secure enough to travel to or invest in. Amen to that Tex. I also believe that the US will maintain bases there from now on just to keep an eye on Iraq/Iran/Syria.
  12. I understand where you are coming from. My point is that they have to address the current problem of terrorism and corruption. Who gives a darn about history at this point. Let's come up to modern day issues. You can cash out you IQD if you think it best, but I'll hang on to mine. I see and end to this but not until the security issue is resolved. Other countries have the same concern. Why would you invest in an unsecure IRAQ!
  13. I hesitate to put this out but I would like to get feedback on what I was thinking about. It seems logical to me that the GOI wants a unified country without ISIS, Daash, Al-Qaida, Dissidents, and political figures such as Maliki before they even consider the RI/RV. Why would you want to raise the value of the currency that they use to buy munitions, troops, vehicles, etcetera to use against you? Logically, you would want to rid the country of the enemy, unify the country and then repay the loyal countrymen with a bright a prosperous future. I don’t see an RI/RV happening until the war is over and country is secure. Could be many months yet. Further I don’t see Albadi’s visit to Washington as anything other than asking for yet more US support to get this done. They will accomplish this but it will take more time. While we wait, they will be getting all the laws, infrastructure, banking, ISX and other loose ends tied up. Then we will see the RI/RV. As much as I wanted this RI/RV happen, I just can’t see it. I have to be “Real” about this. Until the war is over and the political corruption is removed, I don’t believe we will see an RI/RV. They/we are making great progress and spending millions each day to see that this is happening. Many reports of cities being retaken and peace restored. I hope and pray that this will occur before I can even finish this post and another life is taken.
  14. This must be just part of what they are doing for media purposes only. We are in the second day of the four day stretch and all they can do is pass pithy laws? Perhaps they are getting all the loose ends tied up before they are to get to work on the real issues but I doubt it. They must have an alternate agenda going on outside what is being released to the media. With the Kurds upset about HCL and funding for their province, world wide recognition and economy, ISIS, infrastructure and currency....etc. This is all they are working on? BS. Iraq is under the microscope right now. They need to perform.
  15. I agree as well. They have come too far. Also other countries that have supported Iraq, would not take to kindly to supporting one over the other. The will support a unified Iraq only.
  16. What in the world are they talking about in this article? I read it three times and I can't make sense out of it. Can some please take the Aribrish out of this translation for me? Many thanks. I got: lawsuit Budget Paragraphs Postponement until legally resolved I thought a legal nose was something on a lawyer's face.
  17. Yep that's my take on it. I wonder if they are going to follow their 4 day stretch?
  18. Thought about it a little longer and came up with your thought as well. Thanks
  19. So in other words, the 22 Parliament read (not passed) 5 laws that are minor in comparison to the HCL, Defense, Economy and we will meet again tomorrow. "The session saw the vote on the draft accession Law Iraq to the Promotional Framework for Safety and Health Convention No. (187 ) for the year 2006 "draft law on ratification of economic and scientific cooperation between the Government of Iraq and Bulgaria Convention on the Law. the first reading of a bill to ratify the establishment of commercial Ministerial Council between Iraq and the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland the first reading of the draft Iraq's accession to eradicate the illicit trade in tobacco products Protocol to the Convention on the WHO Framework regarding the Tobacco Control Law Convention on the Law ". "The meeting also saw the first reading of the draft law on ratification of the Convention in the field of environmental protection between the Government of Iraq and Kuwait, the law, and the first reading of the draft preserve documents law," noting that "for the second reading of the draft Labour Code Council."
