  1. Nah like the treadmill, its an awful big clothes hangar....
  2. If you are getting frustrated with the lack of meanigful discussion posts then get your fingers a-typin and put something meanigful there. The world does not come here to serve you, you have to serve the world in order to get back from it. As far as etiquette goes where is it against any form of etiquette to say "Please" and "Thank You"? Etiquette actually dictates that you say "Thank you". For one leaving a post that says "thank you" does not offend me but when some one who contributes little and speaks up about someone who contributes almost daily offends me more. Contribute smile and go about your day. If you want I have an etiquette book from 1909 that will teach you how to mind your manners. The book is as valid today as it was back in 1909. Quit having the entitlement mentality and do something rather than expecting everyone to do it for you. BTW if you could direct me to where to find forum etiquette for the internet I would be greatly appreciative. The only forum etiquette rules that I know of for THIS forum are posted and those do not say anything about not leaving a THANK YOU post. Sandfly...THANK YOU.
  3. Fixed it for ya. Sorry Luigi there is no fixing you.
  4. Aisha was 9 when her marriage to the Islamic prophet was consummated as stated by Aisha in the Hadiths. The Ayatollah Khomenie <sp?> proclaims it is okay to bed girls who are at least one year of age and he himself has admitted to doing so. Islamic law states that the women are property and in war to the victor goes the spoils. Women who are captured are taken as slaves for the men. Some are taken as wives but only if they convert to Islam. Why would anyone think this group following Islam that they would not partake in the traditions and history of their most beloved prophet? Hey their prophet once proclaimed that their Allah told his male relative to divorce his wife and give his wife to him. Its even in the Quran. Why? Because their prophet saw her legs. You can brow beat anyone into submission so they will follow. If that is all you have known your whole life then you would defend that because the unknown is literally terrifying. Women in Islam have little to no rights. In Islam, women and girls taken as the booty of war have absolutely none, zilch, nada. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
  5. The Asian buyer is Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam).
  6. The sucker incentive rate is what I have theorized all along. They will come out with a rate to incentivize (<= is this even a word?) the cash in all the while knowing the rate will go up. The trick for this to happen is to make the initial rate high enough to get people to cash in but at the same time remain as low as possible. Then after a good majority has been cashed in, the rate begins to go up. I don't know that magically delicious rate nor do I know if there will be a set period to cash in. That is what I am speculating will happen initially as it makes sense. Then again this Iraq we are talking about so common sense can be thrown out the second story window! (The window, if you can't make a rhyme, sing it in time and throw it out the window!)
  7. Once the 50 dinar recall went into effect there was no possibility of a RV until after April 30th. So Month 1 is April and Month 2 is May. This puts them in line with what has been said in the past by Shabibi that the best time for an RV was during June/July. As each year passes that is the time frame I look towards. Now I don't know the June/July of which year, but if things were to transpire I would be more apt to listen to what Shabibi has said in the recent past and going forward. If nothing transpires by the end of May to setup a June/July RV, not going to happen in that specific year. Have the patience of Job (no not job as in work, Job (pronounced with long o sound) as in prophet from old testament) and good things will come to those who wait ladeedeedah.... I want a million things but need only one...an RV. Then I can get my million things.
  8. For those who are wondering this is more about 0bummer than the Kurds. The current sitting President of the USA refuses to send/sell arms to the Kurds as he states it is illegal for the USA to do so(I guess he picks and chooses what is "legal" these days). Its about how the arming of the Kurds with more up to date weaponry is slow to manifest. By bypassing the President we can directly send/sell arms to the Kurds without a middle man (Bummer and Baghdad).
  9. April 1...April Fool's Day. Love is the folly of the fool for it makes fools men and men fools.
  10. No RV will happen before April 30, 2015 due to the 50 dinar recall as most felt it was a test for the CBI. If an RV happens before then sure we will all be happy. Not to burst bubbles. but don't expect honey where there are no bees.
  11. To be honest here, no RV will happen until after the recall of the 50 dinars is done which is April 30 (I believe). Most felt that was a test for the CBI so if it is a test and the test is not finished, how do you know the results until it is finished? And if an RV doesn't happen between May and August it won't happen this year. Also the IMF board usually takes vacation in the beginning to mid August. If there is no RV before then, no RV until the fat lady sings and she hasn't even begun to warm up! From what I have seen on here, everything leads to a RV but yet no RV. Patience is a virtue. Wait for the HCL to be finalized and put into the Gazette. Wait the RV will happen when it happens. Until then hope but don't see unicorns where there are none. Sure we would all like it to be done yesterday but unicorns don't exist either.
  12. Hmmm... wait until they get the tax bill for Net Neutrality. Oh Wait that's us.... Welcome to the modern world well nothing is for certain except debt and taxes.
  13. Kurdish parties were removed from the US terrorist list in December 2014. The bill is the next step in doing legal official business with them by officially recognizing them. The Kurds have always wanted their own country. This was long before Sadam even came to power. The problem is that in order for there to be a Kurdistan, Turkey and Iran must give up part of their land. It ain't happening unless the Kurds take it by force. No Republican will ever be highly respected in Californistan. It's too far to the left and virtually insolvent due to too many slackers and moochers. Californistan is another subject in its entirety. Will never live there again. (Well living on board an aircraft carrier on Coronado Island isn't really living in Californistan. So technically haven't lived there the first time.) The bill isn't calling for an independent state merely officially recognizing the Kurds as someone the USA can officially do business with which must be done by Congress or the US govt cannot officially do business with them. Remember also we are going to put a base within their territory so Congress has to officially recognize them beyond being on the terrorist list. There are so many factors that many of you are not thinking about when it comes to this bill. Removal from terrorist list, offical government business and installation of a USA base to name several. This has nothing to do with the internal politics of Iraq or the Kurds. It is not divisive in any way.
  14. The April 2015 contract for Crude Futures opened (March 17) around 45 and change.
  15. nana's are the best in the world until you bring home a box of them filled with the world's deadliest spiders. or was them nanners?
  16. HI Adam Crude Light closed today at 43.85 and I made money off the down trend. Was wondering if you could recommend a good movie coming out in the near future that you would consider watching so I can eat my popcorn in peace? Are you partial to the Fast and Furious series with their next installment coming out around April 1? On that note do you think theaters are overcharging or would you invest in one?
  17. Actually Tom caught Jerry many times. It was always the way Jerry escaped that was interesting until they started working together in later episodes. Don't get the Road Runner and Coyote mixed up with Tom and Jerry. The Coyote catches the RR once. Tom catches Jerry many many times. Touche messieurs putty cat!
  18. So they get their 72 white grapes after all. LOL If you don't know don't aks.
  19. I am apt to believe this will take a couple weeks to a month to hashed out. It took several months for the Budget. This could be longer so be patient its going to happen as the inevitability of it is more than a surety at this point given the past track record of the current administration in Iraq. Politicians will be politicians no matter what country they come from.
  20. They have an agreement with the Kurds called the Hydrocarbon Agreement (HCA) this is, I repeat, this is not the Oil and Gas Law (the HCL). There is no other agreement regarding oil as law in Iraq when referring to the distribution of monies to all of the citizens of Iraq. The HCA not the same thing as the Oil and Gas law (otherwise known as the HCL). A lot of people have and continue to confuse the HCA Agreement with the Kurds and the HCL law for all of the Citizens of Iraq. Heck to many here when the budget passed they exclaimed the HCL passed in the budget only to find out that the HCL had not passed. The problem is that the HCL deals with all of the citizens of Iraq not just a region or just one group. The HCL Law also deals with the different regions that produce oil. There are several regions in Iraq that produce oil, not just Kurdistan, and each must be dealt with accordingly so that every Iraqi citizen may be given a fair share of the proceeds of the sale of oil by the GOI. So please quit confusing the HCA Agreement with the Kurds as an agreement for all of Iraq. It isn't and never has been or intended to be that way. It is a major region that had to be dealt with before a more formal HCL law could come to fruition. You can read the HCL or a version of it in a english PDF as all you have to do is google the Iraq Oil and Gas Law. Since there are more players in the game there are more voices and more opportunities for dissenting opinions which is why there was the phrase it may not receive a reading or even a vote. This one deals with everyone's money just not the Kurds. And since the Kurds are part of Iraq and Iraqi citizens, at this time, I am not sure if the HCL would apply to them as they have their own agreement but I wouldn't see why not because the Iraqi constitution stipulates all Iraqi citizens and the Kurds fall under that purview. .
  21. Simple answer to your question is ...no.. The probability is just determining whether in a likelihood the rate will be changed. There is no time basis to the calculation. Basically its speculating when the rate will change. It has no bearing on how long it will be at a certain rate. It just says the current rate has a 83% probability it will change. The current rate also has a 93% probability the current rate will not change. Since the probability to not change for the current rate is higher than the probability for it to change. The likelihood that the current rate to change is not is as great as it will stay the same. So in a sense the study is saying in their opinion based on their calculations the current rate will not change. No... two different calculations and two different resultants. Doing math is fun!
