  1. Thugs- your wit never xeases to amaze me... I Think That We’re All Gonna Be ‘Filthy’ Rich ! Now thats f'n funny... Thanks. I needed that! ( I occasionally wonder if it takes you a long time to come up with some of the responses that you don and think about whether ot not you're browsing through a thesaurus or looking on every webpage that's got humor in it to come up with an appropriate response...I'm pretty certain it doesn't take you long to come up with an appropriate response, and give you tremendous credit.....now if only the Iraqi's coukd bbe as quick as you!) I
  2. I was curious about the environmental challenges mentioned in this article, and wasnt surprised to see the reference to Iran - which is a temporary concern in my opinioon... And saw the following image further down the page...and couldn't help but think that these two are pretty trusting people (unless the guns shown in the image all have blanks) The bottom line is that extreme shifts in the world's political and economic environment- can and do occur at any time -
  3. Thanks 6ly410 - much appreciated. Iraq is going to.need to figure out what to do with all its money all the future revenue from oil and gas investments very soon...(unless they already have and just haven't publicized it)
  4. Thanks for your analysis. I personally havent read the report yet but look forward to doing so this week. One thing I am curious about - given the enormity of statements already mentioned) ((thanks Laid Back and others as well who have given their input refarding the statements conclusion)) is: when did the IMF initiaite its review, and how long sid they take to review it? ...as It seems like some of the starements you highlighted have already been addressed. In addition, although the lack of electronic tracking and auditing departments by the banks referenced may not already be in place, it doesn't mean that oother utside organizations such as those with three (3) letter names haven't alreasy done the work. This is analogous to Trump's meeting with Kim in Vietnam - and Kim's departure from.the meeting when learning the fact that we were already aware of ALL of North Vietnam's nuclear production sites - and not just the already cloaed one one that he offered to give up in his negotiations).... I personally still have high hopes of what's to come - SUDDENLY - and soon! Go RV!!!
  5. So, it looks like theyre voting for a pay-raise for themselves...this reminds me of a scene from an early Simpsons episode when Lisa wins a trip to Washington and exposes corruption and bribery (of I think Congressman Bob Arnold.... I personally think there's more already done behind the scene and that it wont be necessary to send her to Iraq)
  6. Is it Tuesday yet? (I got hit with a summer bronchial infection and touch of pneumonia over a qeek ago and am justv trying to keep up)
  7. Thanks 6ly410- - Very , Very much! This article proves the behind the scene impact that the US government has had on the Iraqi government 's economic transition from that a dictatorship- ruled faux empire to that of a free- functioning society. Articled posted during the past three (3) weeks outoine a strong annd consistent change of Iraq's current economis position toward a stable and free functioning government. In addition to this extremely powerful article - recent statements regarding the positive improved relations between Kurdistan and Baghdad, the completion of article140, statements from the IMF, stability in the price and quantity of oil production, and the long-term market rate stabikity of the IQD - despite periods of extreme internal and d ternal economic duress since 2014 - all point to a positive change in status and position of the IQD and the Government Of Iraq in tbe international ang global community.. Go RV!!!
  8. This is a very interesting development- thanks very much Yota I hope Iraqi's get swift justice against the corrupt who tarnished their history and loss of innocent life~
  9. You get the 3 number name - and we all get a 3 number rate - with a number in front of the decimal point! As I've said many times lately- I love the timing of this ppst - and think its more than coincidental that this is coming out now! Go RV!!!
  10. Thanks very much for your update Adam- and thanks for your acknowledgement and comment regarding my recent post. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoy reading - and learning - from your comments as well as those from many others on DV- which is not just one of the best sites there could possibly be in regards to the Dinar, but one of the best community oriented sites in general on the net- Go RV!!!
  11. Blazin Saddles Style... That's one movie that will never be re-made due to PC - and all of its fans thank you for reminding of us Mell Brooks and the movie's existence! Ps- was Harrison Ford really in this movie? I was pretty young when I saw it the theater- and only 9 when I got to see Animal House - which made for a Happy Childhood!
  12. He referred to the "referral of the sanctions file of the US Treasury to legal advisers to decide on them." This is a pretty big statement- its truly indicative of the influence and progress thats's been done behind the scenes in regards to influence from the West on Iraq's transition from a dictatorship to capitalist society- and more importantly it shows Iraq that they're being watched and that they can't continue to play the games they have with the rest of the Civilized world if they want to function on the same stage with the rest of the International community!
  13. Great post 6ly410- thanks very much. My guess is that the number of those being investigated ior caught s similar to the proporrion of cockroaches that actually has in a dwelling compared to the actual number that truly exist (many more are obviously involved in the CBI corruption and tbose who got caught are.likely to rat out others)... my apology for my choice analogies but it seems appropriate and relevant for some reason~
  14. Thanks for all of your posts as of late Yota691, in what seems to be a busy period- with no immediate stop in sight - and thank you too Synopsis, for all of your comments and analytical interpretation , which help me understand this clustrfuk of a situation...
  15. I i respectively disagree-' especially this part of the decade. Theres been tremendous progress since the elimination of the dasholes (despite the lack of elimination of a former PM.). SWIFT codes and.KPMG werent even a thiught a decade ago, nor was president Trump. I mention the latter because a proper 'deal' could and would eliminate the entire US debt - which is possible mathematically and would be structurally sound. I find it interesting that Trump.made a relevant reference in the news this week; while referring to the fact that the Iranian fiasco setup by Obama (Aka Valerie Jared) was only supposed to be 5 years in duration, he stated that agreements should be much longer when working with countries- in excess of 50 years in length. I recall reading an article prior to his election in which he said we should just take the oil from Iraq for what we've done for them; I'm sure Iraq and all other nations involved would agree that a lengthy deal.would be and is preferable. Recent events (just to name a few) such as the recent visit - and followup meeting just yesterday- of KRG with Baghdad, public comments regarding the completion of article 140, Mahdi's visit to the White House on or about the 15th of July, the yet to be released statement and conclusion by the IMF (I'm pretty sure we would've heard something by now if their summation was negative), the stability and strength of the IQD's market rate and a sustained fluctuation of less than 2%, stability and duration of the current price of oil, the development of digital technology and the coordination between NASD.and the Iraqi stock exchange, the recent "Fire Drill" at the IQD, continued unrest and public demonstrations by the Iraqi citizens - all point in the direction that a positive change in rate of the IQD is coming - this year (I personally won't be surprised if it comes by Aug. 2nd.) The most encouraging thing I left out are previous comments from the CBI that state a change in rate was supposed to have aleeady happened -years ago- and that it didn't due to problems in Iraq that have since been resolved- which further proves the current state of stability and security in Iraq. Go RV!!!
  16. Engine1- thats's a freakin' hilarious response to read before going back to bed ....in hopes of waking up to a more traditional text...which wll hopefully come by August 2nd.
  17. the register of Kirkuk elections by 31 January 2020, and excludes from those who passed Article 140. tha's a pretty sweet find, 6ly410- thanks!
  18. Well. In my opinion, "something is up"......the IMF seems like one of those organizations that does things by the book - consistently, and that there must be a strict schedule not only for the things they review, but also in regards to the time it takes to release their conclusions. Looking at it another way, I am of the opinion that the IMF would have already released a statement if the results regarding Iraq were bad or negative, and that no news is good news...(or so I hope!). The timing od Barswani's visit to Baghdad and Madi's trip to the White House on the 15th (along with all the other fantastic articles as of late) feels more than encouraging....
  19. I've been dealing with a summertime virur for almost 2 weeks...i'm glad i took the time to figure out the meaning of the image you posted...i was pretty confused when i saw the word 'sock' - but that's only because some residents in my state dont wear them....(ok- i'll admit I was one of them in my college years...but thats only bexause i couldnt find any tgat were clean or matched simultaneously).... Montana is definitely on my post-RV list of places to visit- I am pretty certain they have less light pollution than the area near me which happens to be half-way between Boston and New York. (has it rv'ed yet? This took a long time to write for some reason)
  20. Can you elaborate on your statement ? On another note, does anyone know the timeline for responses by the IMF? Specifically, was Article 8 supposed to be reviewed on a particular day- and if so- how long do they usually take to publicize a decision - and are decesions published if they arent passed? Thanks very much. I am pretty sure I saw something on this somewhere recently but I can't recall where....everything starts to look the same afteer a while...
  21. I knew the lingo in this thread reminded me of something..... ..........
  22. I"m glad intook the time to read through the last 5 pages of this thread....thanks for the comments and updates from.everone who participated...much appreciated. So just to make sure I understand the current situation correctly, the IMF has yet to comment on article 8, tomorrow's session might includ ex the completion of the cabinet, and the IQD has yet to comment further on reports pf bogus currency...all of this going on simultaneously during the days immediately following Barswanni's trip (successful that is) to Baghdad and with the formation of a committee to resolve the outst aasnding oil abd gas issues.....and a week following Mahdi's trip to the White House (that was on the 15th, was it not? I re aas ll reDing aheD of time about the planned meeting but didn't catch anything that discussed the meating since then.... I certainly think the timing of these simultaneous circumstances is "overly-coincid ed ntal"- and hope I'm right. On another note, I coukdnt help but think that the following description was an accurate depiction on the loss of my virginity(if ac nyone finds it then let me know) and felt like commenting on that as well....(ive got a bad cold with a fever so i apologize if i offended anyone which wasnt my intenh...'just venting'...Go Rv!!!!
  23. Pitcher- Thanks very much for the time and effort you've devoted to this site - especially with posts like this. I am more than ready - and hopeful- for a change in rate.. The timing of this this post is very encouraging - as I eagerly await the update from the IMF..... and text from Adam!
  24. I share yiur enthusiasm Laid Back- and hope we all get a well-deserved break from this site in the near future with a chance to communicate n person in an appropriate celebratory environment~
