  2. Looks fabulous....when I plan a trip to the area I will be sure to call ahead for a reservation! On a side note...their webpage is very hard to read with the red wine behind the wording. Have to keep scrolling up to see the words that made it a little less enjoyable.
  3. I am POSITIVE if someone offered me $1.11 rate for my dinars...I would not hesitate..would not think twice....I would be taking that offer and dancing out of the bank

All I have to say is when you invite someone to go ice fishing for the first time....please explain to them ahead of time about the water erupting out of the hole your ice auger makes Had a friend who made it to the shore line in record time when the water came gushing out.....laughed until I almost peed myself!
  8. Wow there really is a different story every day. What happened to the agreement they had to "test" the pipeline. Unless of course the Kurds are continuing to use the pipeline....what a mess Iraq is.
  9. Love Zig. I have his quotes all over my house. My all time favorite is : What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals...Zig Ziglar It is the signature from my email
  10. The site has always been like that....if 2 members post the same topic....they get merged. Have seen it many many times. Helps keep things straight and posts don't get lost so easily.
  11. We got married in Las Vegas and spent 7 days/6 nights there. We spent $0.00 gambling. There is so much to do there. Now......if we make it to Vegas afte the RV....we might spend a little itty bitty amount. Neither of us are gamblers....so taking a change on the Dinar was thought out....hubby was in Iraq and was able to get the dinar so we talked about it a few days and then went for it....it's been a long ride. Sure am hoping it is over sometime really SOON
  12. I have this on my FB page and will update things to keep it at the top. He is in my prayers daily along with his family. I cannot imagine the pain they go through....all of them.

  16. Now on the website is a link that says Home Exchange Rates. It is like a PDF and in Arabic but shows the rates that used to under indicative rates..,,, what is a home exchange rate rather than indicative rate?
  17. After having worked in the court system, I heard the statement that "I am not giving her a dime" many many times. Child support is not spousal support. When a child lives with both parents and one of them makes a lot of money, they maintain a certain lifestyle. When the parents get divorced, it is expected that the child can retain some of that lifestyle. If the parent who is an absent parent is the one that afforded the lifestyle, then child support will be figured to that degree. Not to say that the ex spouse uses the child support for all things child related as there are many who do not. But something such as a mortgage or rent payment in a nicer part of town is a part of the child support if the child had been living in a really nice part of town. Driving a reliable vehicle will also qualify. I don't think that a BMW is necessary when a nice lower cost vehicle will do the same job. I cannot image $15,000 a month in child support...but then I cannot imagine $1,500 a month in support if the ex is worth $ 30 million and makes $1.2 a year. When I worked in the courts, the ex's complained about $300 a month and they complained about $5,000 a month...didn't matter. And it was the men and the women....whoever was paying child support and we had plenty of women paying support.
  18. Djorgie, you may have seen it blank before, that is not a question to me. What is surprising to me is that it has never been brought to our attention before. We have many many people who check the site every single day and in all the time I have been visiting DV and since I have been a member, I have never heard anyone state that the rates were blank. I have been checking the site for at least 6 years and have never seen them all blank. Granted, I do only check about once a week so I can miss quite a bit. I agree with LGD....there is so much else going on that it makes the blank rates that much more exciting.
  19. Hey I am from Chicago :) JK...I knew what you meant!! I do agree with you...this is not something that has happened before. I really really really would like it to mean something....but I have been on this way to long and until it changes and I can see it...I will be just cautiously optimistic
  20. Lot of good it does to have all of these natural resources to export if the country cannot agree on anything
