Considering all U.S. Troops (with the exception of Embassy guards) will be gone by the end of the year, Maliki better get the sanctions lifted, unless he wants to defend his country with slingshots. IMO, if Chapter 7 sanctions are not lifted before our troops are gone, and a subsequent RV does not transpire by year end, then our investment faces some uncomfortable uncertainty.

That was my understanding as well...

If it has hit, now one has told me. I am only working for another few weeks, and then, who knows. I am taking a much needed break. An RV would certainly make the break a more extended one. God Bless.

I agree with you Heavy. I too am a Christian and as many on this site, I am being blessed with challenges that the Lord uses to refine me. Perhaps some of the “bashing” is spawned from frustrated financial needs that so many of us have. I need this to happen, but am comforted that God’s perfect timing will prevail. He is, after all a “Just in time” God. He is seldom early, but never late, so we hope, wait and trust. Considering the small percentage of us that even know about this investment, I am thankful to be one of the chosen few who invested. May God bless (and he will) our entire dinar family.

There seems to be a number of positive players stirring the stew. There is alot of good but succinct news coming out on this weekend’s news cycles.

I interpreted this differently. Allawi has been more of a hindrance than a positive force, and the article did state they have 5 names to choose from. Having 5 candidates is certainly better than starting from scratch. Bondlady also views Allawi’s resignation as positive news for our investment. +1 for the post.
