If our investment tripled and say we were on this site as much as EasyRider and assume he is in for 5 million dinar. So, he made $10,000. Now, easy has made 2,236 posts. That means he has probably read 10 times that many. So, Easy has read 22,360 posts and he has done research. I'll bet he has done 120 hours of research. On the 22, 360 posts written and read, let's assume 5 minutes each. 12 an hour = 1863 hours. This totals 1,983 hours. Let's round it of to 2,000 hours. So Easy made $5 per hour. Okay, let's say he has 10 million dinar, so that he made $10.00 an hour. Well, at least he probably made more than the Walmart Greeter, and I think he would have been a great one. No, we don't want no stinkin 3 times return.

In Godfather II, one of the first scenes is the landlord who is approached by Don Corleone on the street. The Don, asks him to give the widow a break on her rent. The landlord threatens to kick his ass, he is all over his case. The next scene, the landlord has now realized who Don Corleone is. Try to visualize this. The landlord is stumbling and mumbling as he enters his office - terrified. He says "the renta stays da same" The Don just stares. The landlord then reduces the rent by $5; (no reaction) then $10. Still no response. Finally he says $15 and The Don says Bene Bene and shakes his hand, but says "And the dog stays". Obama will not put any plan on the table. He wants the economy to be a Republican economy, so that the Republicans are the ones who have to propose cuts to the seniors and push them down the stairs in their wheelchairs, like in Richard Widmark's first movie. And Obama offers no solution. Oh, yea, he keeps talking about the corporate jets. That is about 3 mill, but it will hurt the jet manufacturers and their employees, so probably a push. But, everybody hates the corporate jet owners - all 20 of them. I've got to believe he has the RV in his back pocket, so he doesn't have to worry about reducing the deficit, but in the meantime the Republicans are scrambling. Trump thinks they do not know the first thing about negotiating. But, in the meantime, the stability of Iraq is growing weaker every day. One event can dash the whole thing. So, we wait and just stare out of our window at the lake, watching someone put a bullet through the head of our brother - had to get that in. And, somehow, Obama will dupe everyone about he worked out the RV. But, remember, don't hate Obama - hate what he does - makes a difference.

This is Iraq! I give up on what is good or bad news, but I am going to go out on a limb. I think that Maliki is out and that this security minister can be named as early as tomorrow. Panetta was good today, when he jumped them about their slowness in making a decision - hope they understand "Dammit". The Kurds are against M and Alawi has another group to add to his, so this should be good news. But, this is all so fragile, with Iran and all the in fighting. Now, to our government and O talking about higher taxes on the rich and the corporate boat tax breaks, which do not amount to more than 3 Mill. What about the companies that make the boats, employ workers. No, O wants higher taxes on the Dinarians. That is what he is holding out for. So, to me this means that it should happen this month. But, I go back to my original statement. This is Iraq. Just think, Iran, basically killed 15 of our troops in June. Can you imagine the families. For what? Why? Questions they must be asking. Iran is the new Nazi regime and we are at the early stage and every one is in dis-belief, just like we were with Hitler. Shoot, even in 1937, Churchill thought he was a good guy. Easy, I kept waiting for some bad taste punch line. Do you realize that this whole dinar thing is from God? Why do you think it has not made the press. I am a novelist and I am in the middle of a humorous story about a woman who dies at 38, leaving behind her twin 14 year old sons and husband. Well, the story goes on with her quest to get back to earth because her two boys and husband are klutzes that can't get along without her. She proceeds to drive every one in heaven nuts, so they have to find a way to get her back, which becomes a spectacular love story, along with the comedy. This story has some truth to it because my friend's wife died at 38, leaving behind her twin boys and husband. After the funeral, they were home in the kithchen having a sandwich and as clear as a bell, they hear the words "I'm going now". They looked at each other stunned. One of the boys said, "that was Mom". They all hugged. This part of the story is totally true and has stuck with me all the time. Great post and great responses to it except for Easy. Easy is fixated on his bodily functions, but don't look down at your shortcomings, Easy. Your dinar posts have been good - don't denegrate yourself. I can tell you are a good guy...can't hide it Easy....you are a good guy! Just one person's opinion.

DinarChiTown - This may be the most lucid response. I;'m from Chicago too and not only will there be an RV, but the Cubbies finally win a world series. By the way, did you know they didn't win it in 1908. Read up on it. Merkle was on first for the Giants, when the Giants got the winning hit. Every one was celebrating, including Merkle, who never touched 2nd base. After about 5 minutes, a Cub found a ball and jumped up and down on 2nd. Merkle was declared out and the Cubs then won in extra innings, putting them in the World Series. True Story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did a careful evaluation of the responses to this post. Came up with a formula better than Good Will Hunting and I deduced that there were 12 more inane responses than there should have been to this post. Think I got it, the jurors are back from the Casey Anthony trial. What you all prefer is the pablum spewed forth by DD, very pious and pompous - words that are formed into sentences that signify absolutely nothing. But he is the voice of reason. I'll take Okie over DD any day. One thing we all seem to miss is that nothing can be predicted because you have Casey Maliki in Iraq breaking every promise. I actually saw him in a hot body contest, as well. He came in second. The winner wore a burqua and did not move-very seductive. The person who came in last was Pamela Anderson. You see the Iraqis just do not seem to be able to get things right.

Happy 4th all. If you are like me, many of you have bought your dinars over time. Assuming that ordinary income and capital gains are dependent upon the the 366 day rule - how would this work. I bought some on 8/13 - Bought additional dinars up until 2/4/11. Is this LIFO (last in first out). So, if I cash in after 8/13 on just those dinars I bought on that dat, does the IRS go to my last purchase in February to determine whether this is a capital gain. I have kept my dinars seperate with each transaction, so I could cash out the specific dinars for each specific buy. I know, there are some experts who say this will be capital gains, regardless. However, I would be hesitant to pay only 15% on that assumption, even with the advice of a tax attorney and later have the IRS come after me for the additional 35% because they changed the name of the game. As you know, this would be devastating and with penalities, who knows. My thought would be to pay the 35% up front and then fight for the 15%. Why not just wait it out you ask? First, we are in our seventies - second, I do not trust what is going on there with Iran. It is all so very fragile. Any experts? I know one thing each of us would have to get a letter of disposition from the IRS so that any action we take is based on there certified response. Now, I hope all the above is an issue we will all have to deal with. PS - Have you all studied Babe Ruth? He broke 577 records. When he hit 54, that was more than the league combined. He held the record for steals of home. In his last game, now with the Braves, he hit 3 home runs in Pittsburgh, the last one leaving the park - first time done - his last at bat. And then, you have to see the homer in Wrigley where he called his shot and how he taunted them all in the dug out as he rounded home. Life does imitate art.
