They are smarter than we are. They got the money and don't care who they deal with as long as it to their benefit. When I was 16 and working in a small men's clothing store in a small town, the man that owned it told me that one day China would bury us. And that was because a salesman came in trying to sell goods from China. Will never forget that and he may have been right. China goes after what it needs and doesn't care. Smithfield Meats? Soon to be China owned. By the way, the year was 1962 when the above happened. They will take over our agriculture and you will wonder why you can't buy what you want anymore. All exported. They have got a few more people to feed than we do.

Bump, I am not too far from you, and sad to say, this goes on even in small towns. Politicians are out to line THEIR pocket at the taxpayer expense. The county I live in is large in terms of square feet but low in people count. Some of the highest paying jobs in the county are in the government. Got a few running banks that make more, but just a few. I could really get started about this. Really sticks in my craw if you know what I mean. Our beloved clerk of the county went from making 15.50 an hour to over 100 grand just by getting elected. Those that got him there have been repaid at taxpayer expense. And on, and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't spend money in a whorehouse if I didn't think I was wanted. Not blackmail, just customer satisfaction.

I have had pretty good luck with apmex.com. Depending on how much you buy, the mark over spot goes down. I have also bought off e-bay but you need to watch the spot prices before you start bidding.

I know at that age I had a set of Lone Ranger pistols and played Cowboys and Indians with my brother and sometimes by myself. The only Indian was in the imagination and, Yes, I shot a lot of them, and got shot many a time. And you are so right, kids do not get to be kids anymore. Simpler times are worth a lot.
