Which is why I also stated we would not need welfare in the first place if churches would step up ... its right there in the middle. I haven't had my coffee yet so I even double checked looked a little like your avatar pic

I love how people want to quote the bible to reason away some ones right to vote. Lets not forget "what ever you have done unto the least of these you have done unto me" or how the bible says to not ignore the widows and the orphans, matter of fact it flat out says it is your DUTY to help them. This whole topic in all honesty wouldn't even need to exist if every one who claimed to be a Christian actually acted like one. If they did, and churches were able to do what God called them to do, we would have no need for a welfare system. News flash to all of you out there on this sanctimonious self absorbed ego trip, not every person who is on welfare is cheating the system, not every person who is on welfare is on drugs. Matter of fact the last statistic stated only about 8%. That is still a lot of people but no where near the amount most people assume and use to justify their discriminatory state of mind.

HR 1366, How they will take away YOUR citizenship
Ms.Bean replied to divemaster5734's topic in Off Topic posts
This is simply a slippery slope into an America that nobody wants, the powers that be are very good at dressing it up in a package that looks good. Of course it makes sense to have laws in place to protect honest American citizens from people who want to them. It is unfortunate that in this day and age some of those people happen to be actual citizens. The bottom line is once you put a law into place and it can cut both ways. It is open to interpretation. Which means who ever is in charge of enforcing that law at the time can use it to their digression. It's just another step away from what we used to stand for, or at least claimed to stand for. -
Pat Robertson: God Told Me Who The Next President Will Be
Ms.Bean replied to delta22's topic in Off Topic posts
Nothing against Pat Robertson here or most of what he stands for but its like, "Hello Captain Obvious" I believe in God but I didn't need a divine word from Him to point that out, just like I don't need a divine word to point out that potato chips are fattening. -
  +1 for you!

SADR TO SUE VP BIDEN IF HE ENTERS IRAQ
Ms.Bean replied to Carrello's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
The only thing you said here that I take any issue with is the fact that I seriously doubt any Iraqi over there would be reading these statements lol. If something were to happen to Sadr some how I doubt they will be thinking "those guys at DV encouraged this" Other than that though you are spot on. People really do need to wake up here in America and see what is happening right under our noses. My grandfather was a decorated WWII vet and if he knew what was going on I'm sure he would be rolling over in his grave. -
The state of America and the level of denial that people are in about the loss of our civil rights reminds me of the scene in Star Wars when the emperor takes over the senate and Amedalla (sp?) says " So this is how liberty dies, to loud thunderous applause".

I know this was an important even towards the RV that most of us were looking forward to, but given the latest head lines I am not so sure this is a good thing anymore as far as the RV goes. That being said I am happy for our troops and their families. It will be a Merry Christmas for them indeed
