  1. Some of those in the "know" have expressed the thought that if we followed what Secretary of State Clinton is doing that it might lead us towards the RV/RI....This is the site I use to keep up with her... http://secretaryclinton.wordpress.com/ Secretary Clinton in Abu Dhabi: Thursday June 9th 2011
  2. (RTTNews) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillarious Rodham Clinton has said that it is time for the United States to start thinking of Iraq as a business opportunity. 6/6/2011 7:34 AM ET Delivering opening remarks at a business forum with senior executives from major U.S. corporations to discuss opportunities in "the new Iraq," Clinton pledged the government's full support to the corporate sector in making new investment in Iraq. U.S. Embassies and Consulates will be the hubs that support commercial activity in every region of Iraq. The State Department will work hard to champion American companies. USAID, Treasury, the Departments of Energy and Agriculture, OPIC, Ex-Im, and many other agencies will combine their unique and proven experience to work with American businesses. 3. Adam - Sara If you don't mind, badge me as well....it would take too much effort to get the picture done for me as the dinar are not in my immediate possesion.....I am involved in everything other than OGIT.....and that's because mine are mostly already there.
  4. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you out there in DV land. Better than that I hope the whole weekend is filled with special events and memories, as there is nothing nobler than being a Mother. It’s funny how we have created all of these “Hallmark” days where we share special feelings on that day. I guess in my perfect world everyday would be Mother’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s day, etc.etc…….(who knows may be I have just defined heaven)….and with that said I have decided to become Guru-ish…..Okie-ish, if you will, and predict that all of you Mothers will receive a special gift from above on late Sunday afternoon when the forex opens and the markets in Australia open the business week. May be its as much of a wish for all of you, as it is a prediction, but it would be a deserving gift for all of those great Mothers out there……so what’s the rate you ask…..as long as I am Mr. Guru………ha…… I have no idea?????.....but… with everything I have gleaned from all of you…….(and I know nothing about much of anything)……86 cents is to low……$3.86 is too high………so about the middle…….mid $2.00’s…….so, anyhow, that is my wish for all of you Mothers out there…….Hope you have the best day ever!!!!!! Mods.........feel free to move this to where you feel it is best suited?......put it here because I guess it is a prediction of sorts.... Thanks, Rick
  5. Excellent Scooby Doo.........did I hear, or read, that you were looking into Brazil for "post RV" ?
  6. Well.....I respect everything everyone has said here......as some of you know.....I liked Tiffany23 as most of you do...she is very bright, articulate, and a great read........this is the second time she has left us and I believe there may be more to her story than meets the eye.......I for one wish to let her go in peace, and only wish her the greatest of happinesses in life.....whatever those may be to her........
  7. Amen to that brother!!!!!!....I would give you +100 plus if I could........and with all of the additional countries represented on this site....buy from your home country......and.....here's a thought I have had........look around any house in the US.....all 8 ft. ceilings???????.....average height of men 6 ft........women 5'5"........why are we wasting all of that energy heating the top foot.........bring it down a foot.....unless you are x-tra tall...... throughout the country there would be a huge savings in energy usage.....(and therefore cost to us consumers)...and yes it would take time to transition the new homes into this.......and it would be a process.....and it will take time.......but, that's how life works.......thanks for the post....and thanks for taking the time to read this.... thought.....
  8. Pretty happy with my life situation.....probably keep everything the same......like what I do for a living.......have not told many of this investment....the ones that know are invested too......will continue with my non profit project group........which is electricity and clean water for less fortunate in other countries.....but in a bigger way after RV/RI.......probably purchase 12,000 acres of land adjacent in the Wind River Mountain Range...(Wy).....adjacent to the Wind River National Forrest area where I spend many weeks every summer.........enjoying what God made..!!!!!....Guess that's it.......nice thread.......thanks!!!!!

  10. So perhaps tomorrow we will see the US govt. shut down....perhaps we will default on loan payments.....perhaps this will trigger a world wide revaluation.....time will tell.........sad thing is that there are only a handful of people that contol this issue, and they can't get it together over basically a 7 Billion Dollar difference on 3 trillion dollar budget.....this is dedicated to all of them!!!! Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits? Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes? You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does. One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 555 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. (I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but PRIVATE, central bank.) I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes. These 555 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. Any President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who was the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She was the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. This budget was to be approved in September of 2010, When the Dem's held the House, the Senate and the Presidency....how did they drop that ball???? If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 330 million cannot replace 555 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 555 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 555 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist. If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .. If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan. If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way. There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 555 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do. These 555 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses, provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees. We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess! This might be funny if it weren't so true. Be sure to read all the way to the end: How are we taxed?..........they..... Tax the land, Tax the bed, Tax the table, At which he's fed. Tax our tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule. Tax his work, Tax his pay, He works for peanuts anyway! Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat. Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt. Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think. Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries Tax his tears. Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his (sh#@&*t). Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers; Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid... Put these words Upon his tomb, Taxes drove me to my doom...' When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax.. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What in the hell happened? Can you spell 'politicians?' Sorry for the rant................just don't understand how this great country has gone so far down hill in the past 10 years.......it is very sad...
  11. BANG.........I do believe that our default, if it occurs, could be the trigger that becomes the cause and effect to which ever way this all goes.........14 trillion and growing.....that's nuts!!!!.....there will come a time when the world pulls the plug on us......and we may be giving them the perfect opportunity.......and these idiots we have calling the shots in Washington.........Good Lord......how can they all be so incompetent!........better stop now before I become too crazy.......should be an interesting couple of days.......
  12. Wishingonstar.....welcome....... and that is the million dollar question....there is so much great information on this site.......take some time and take it all in..........we all hope this is close to the end.....none of us know for sure........time will answer these questions.....but sooner or later you will discover that this is a great investment!
  13. P 79 You are right on the money with this post. I have been collecting Royalties from the Bakken/Williston Basin area for a couple of years now….My info is that there is roughly 2.3 million barrels….a little lower than original projections….As stupid as this will sound…..some of the US thought process has been to buy “foreign”…and save our reserves so as the world runs out….we will have what’s left..... and it will very valuable…..Tiffany…..sorry the acreage you speak of is not quite enough…..click on the link below....….At the point that the dinar RV’s….I encourage everyone to consider the getting involved in mineral Royalties….they are a fairly conservative investment that will pay you monthly over many years http://groups.google.com/group/bakken-shale-discussion/browse_thread/thread/a5077639fe9f84a1?pli=1 Also let me add to P 79............you have such a control of language, and how you express your thoughts.......truely a gift...............
  14. Hey Girl, VIP will get you the Certificate mailed to you right after RV and Adam will send a download you can use to print out at the time of RV notification, or shortly after....he will also be sending/emailing info on banks etc......................at least that's my understanding..... http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/54789-vip-certificate-faq/ Platinum is life time and you get the certificate before hand....
  15. Another opportunity in Natural gas would be "Royalties".....you can learn more here...... http://www.ehow.com/how-does_4900043_how-natural-gas-royalties-work.html You can find companies that will locate opportunities for you...there is an initial investment, and then you get a monthly check for a number of years, depending on your contract......I have simplified it.......but I assure you the concept works.....just do the homework......look to the heartlands of the US, and over the long term you can make a very nice profit.
  16. Austin Powers......."international man of mystery".....I am so glad you stopped by......have to say I have always enjoyed the series of films....anyhow.....if you look on the second page of #134 you will see all of the specs.....from fork lift tilt degrees, to brands, cylinders, etc......9basically just what they are looking for)....also if you go to the top of the page and click on the section that shows "contracts awarded" you will find what was paid for earlier offerings....some of them are in euros....some are in dollars.......anyhow that's my take on it........(not to say I couldn't be wrong)...you are not paying the 50,000 dinar to gain more info......and yes they do accept payments in Dollars at this time. P.S. Give my best to Vanessa Kensington (Elizabeth Hurley),
  17. Probably to simple, but may give us an idea?.....go to the link and see if there is any item you are familiar with that you can review to bid on.......I picked #134......a 15 ton forklift.....click on that for the additional info.......they are looking to pay 50,000 dinar for that item... and the by 12-4-2011......there are 2 pages with details on the requirements....they are looking for a new 2010 or 2011 model....from one of 3 manufacturers........so doing the math.......is anyone going to sell this to them for about $50 bucks?........then go look up new prices for this item......pretty expensive isn't it........so this leads me to believe that an RV of between $2.00-$3.00 makes some sense, if you look at it from this prospective.....I would enjoy your input on this.......thanks! http://www.oil.gov.iq/tender.php
  18. So since the family melt down.... Tiger Woods has not "won" anything.....will he win a major again?....or any tournament for that matter......are his troubles related to his personal problems.....or perhaps because he lost his "swing" coach...........perhaps the "young guns", have all caught up to him.....anyhow...."off topic"..... for sure....but if you play a round or two occassionally....your input is appreciated.......I guess one more thought.........who is your favorite "up and comer" (did I spell that right?).... my vote is for Ricky Fowler....your turn...........thanks in advance for your thoughts....................
  19. So many sites indicating that we are indeed close.....let's all hope so, and thanks for the post....
  20. Ron, Thank you for posting the information by ENORRSTE...I am sorry you have to take some of the "crap" that comes along with posting an honest possibility of where we are in this world.....I hope and pray that this is not the case....but am well read, and versed, enough to realize that this event is a "game changer"....for all of those who want to remove religion (Bible) from any of this I would just ask you to take the..... logic from the post. The third largest economy in in the world in shambles....how might this effect the worlds economy......and all of us eventually.........Ron keep up the posts.......you and Doc31 are my very favorites.....you are informative and often your thought process is "outside of the box".....and frankly the world needs more people like you. Thank you ENORRSTE for having the "gonads" to write your feelings, and to share them with all of us. As Doc would say................................Peace.............
  21. Well I think this discussion illustrates some of what Adam is thinking. None of us are sure what will happen when we get the RV/RI. Will the US Gov't impose some sort of lottery tax? Will Iraq do some kind of "in house" RV? None of us know any of this and the possibilites are endless. So Adam has suggested diversification. One thought of his was put some money into a Warka account. Yes, some risk involved, but it does cover you for some of the possibilites. Another is the off shore corp with the off shore bank account. You would have to get your dinar out of the country before the RV, or very shortly after, so the government doesn't grab an excessive amount of your cash. Or perhaps it will work out where we will only be taxed at a 15% rate so we can pour the rest into our local economies to help jump start our country economically. I don't know when all this will happen, but I do hope that everyone has given great thought to the many possibilites of how it will happen, and what they might be able do to to keep a bigger piece of the pie.......with that said......I suggest you read Adams book.....you can get it online for about 10 bucks (ebook).....or better yet join VIP and get it free.....with the VIP you will get a better cash in rate at RV time as well, and may be able to increase your piece of the pie that way as well.
