BIG news Adam! Best news I've seen since they raised the rate from 1170 to 1166. Best potential I've seen with this investment in years.

Yep. The dates don't matter but the large supply will keep value near where it is now. Doesnt seem to be any evidence that they want to change things at all.

Absolutely right my friend. I'd love to believe we'll get rich off this but the math doesn't add up to a big RV. Seems to me the most likely chance is for a revenue neutral redomination and then possibly increase the value 2 or 3x or maybe increase the value to 1000 to 1 and then redominate. Either way we can make somewhat of a profit and their currency will be stronger and more valuable - just like Shabibi has said he wants to do. Just don't see how they could afford an RV over a penny at this point. Even that would be beyond my wildest expectations but of course I'd love to see it if it's in the realm of possibility.

Ditto. I'd like to see 1000 to 1 in the next few months. Not going to make us millionaires but it's the most realistic scenario at this point. The amount of money they would have to pay out at a $1 RV, let alone $3 is enough to boggle the mind.

1000 to 1 would at least be some improvement over 1166 to 1. Not the millions we're all hoping before but another step in the right direction.

Hopefully we'll continue to see gradual incremental changes or maybe more likely the move from 1166 to 1000. i saw a very recent article stating they planned to do just that. To me that would be a great sign and at least in the realm of possibility. The best thing would be that they continue to take small steps which don't involve a redomination and that's what i'm holding out for but who knows?

Great points dinarck throughout this whole thread. As much as I'd like to drink the Koolaid a huge RV is completely unrealistic. I'd love to see it get to 10 cents but even that doesn't seem possible anytime soon. Do you see any possible small incremental increases in the near future like the 1170 to 1166 bump a few months ago? I'm pretty sure all of us on here own a large amount of dinar and want to see some sort of positive outcome. I guess even with an RD we could possibly double or triple our investment if they RVd after that. I'd like to see some sort of evidence that a redomination isn't in their best interest economically.

Good point guys. As much as I'd like it there's just no way we can see a 100,000% increase in value. I'm just hoping they decide not to lop and we can see some incremental increases down the road. Not the millions we're all hoping for but at least maybe double or triple our investment. 10 cents would be amazing but not sure if thats just wishful thinking. At least the currency seems to be pretty stable at this point.

We definitely won't get rich from an RD lol. Hopefully they'll continue to postpone this idea and just raise the value realistically as they reduce the money supply and their economy improves.

Thats why I'm still in. Its a risk but there's definitely potential to make money. I doubt we'll turn thousands into millions but sure would be nice.
