Well, I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse, IV certified, ventilator certified, experienced with peds and adults. I have worked with Alzheimers and dementia patients (my first preferred pt group but not my only prefered group), geriactrics, hospice, respiratory, develope mentally disabled. With hospice they offer LVN's per diem jobs first, allowing them to move into full-time positions as they rarely open up. Unfortunately one must endure the ups and downs of the Hospice Pt population as they transition from this life. Very hard to do in these hard economic times. This is why I left a Hospice position during yet another low point in work to attend the end of life needs of my father in-law. After he passed, I re-entered the work force only to find that most employers, due to medicare/medicaid arbitrary cuts in reimbursements, have at most 32 hours per week job. That means that I would have to get a 8 hour part time job somewhere else. The problem here is that I cannot find any employer that has anything less than a 16 hour per week job. So the idiots that passed this economy twisting Affordable Care Act, saying that the additional hours free from the burden of work will allow people to persue their lifes artistic dreams is all crap because I now will need to accept both a 32 hour per week job and a 16 hour per week job because of Obama Care redefining of the work week to 32 hrs. So I work 48 hours per week without the benefit of overtime, which will actually increase everyones losses in income to something beyond 20%. This on top of the pre-Obama Care cut of 10% in reimbursements that Medi/medi instituted that resulted in a then 10% reduction in medical care givers wages. Stop the bleeding. The only ones that will suffer is the patient population as lower quality medical care is given under the federal programs. Many Doctors are not accepting Obama Care patients anyway, instead opting for concierge private pay medical practices. Like they really ment it when they said if you like your Doctor you can keep your Doctor, the fees are fees and not a tax; while the Supreme Court only approved Obama Care by Justice Dept argument before them that this is a tax and Congress is allowed to levy taxes, boom. Told us, and still tell us its a fee. I am going to run (exercise) this worked my anger up. Gotta calm it down so I can spend another day virtually applying for jobs that no one ever calls me back on. God is in controll, I will keep my eyes on Him. Hope the RV is this year and soon, by April or June. That way I can step out and serve God full-time. Maybe, open a RCFE or two and hire only LVN's and CNA's to work there.

Tort reform where in a medical malpractice negligence suit, the looser pays the winners attorney fees, and if the client cannot pay them the attorney must out of their malpractice insurance.
