eastcreek replied to Nadita's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
Thanks nadita, it's good to have you back. I really appreciate your taking the time and making the effort to bolt this info out to us. .....and congrats to your daughter !!! -
So, we can expect the RV tomorrow, right ?

I am a fan of a college team whose stadium seats roughly 88000 fans. A geophysicist friend of mine is also a fan. A group of some eight of us friends were in a discussion on climate change about three years ago. My geophysicist friend explained it in a way that was understood by all. Taking in to account man's CO2 emissions, and believing that mankind is causing the climate changes being reported by the IPCC, would be like us fans believing that a fan in that stadium was changing the temp in that stadium by two degrees. Hard. To. Believe. Also, a little factoid that continues to stick out to me. This from about 3-4 years ago: If the whole population of earth were to be put inside the state of Texas; the population density would be less than exists today in the city of New York. Think about that. Now in fairness, I have not done those calculations myself. I just read them from a trusted source, so I took it in. Sometimes, a little perspective needs to be given........................................................Oh, if you calculate differently on the Texas thingy, please let me know. G'day.

Well, of course Joe Wilson was correct. Then, the follow-up by the media just confirmed everything we'd begun to hear about them. The majority are so in-the-tank for Obama that they slammed Wilson rather than check out whether he was right about Obama. If the media had spent a fraction of the time actually investigating WHAT Joe Wilson said, that they spent bashing Joe Wilson, Obama would not have been reelected.

38 million gallon reservoir drained after teenager caught urinating
eastcreek replied to umbertino's topic in Off Topic posts
Wow, I am so happy that authorities here don't allow the animals to pee in the river where I live. We'd have no drinking water, if they weren't so vigilant. Thank the Lord for these prescient individuals....keeping the ppm count in check. BTW, shouldn't we make it against the law for the whales to purposefully urinate in our oceans? Just a thought..... -
Just go ahead and admit it umbertino, when you say capitalist you really don't know what you're saying.
-
Thank you, Colonel . I will now answer with, "you have no authority to ask that question." Sir, I appreciate your work here, and your service to our country !

Why Is Iraq Buying Gold? And Is It Good ??
eastcreek replied to BetOnDinar's topic in RV & Dinar Questions
Not to worry, BetOnDinar, they're buying with oil, not dinar. -
Millions, I think you are being, "penny wise, and pound foolish," if you wait until gold hits $600 before you buy in. Who knows, you may be spot-on, but to hedge my bets, I'd go ahead and buy some now, if you don't already have your stash hoarded somewhere.......but that's just me.

Poor guy forgot his boots ! Otherwise, should be "OK." Carry on..................................

This response was happily supplied by someone who knows neither Possum Holler nor grits.

If the article has any value, post it on here. I'm not going to join another site about which I know nothing. Thanks in advance for posting.

Bernie Sanders, eh. Another one of our absolutely BRILLIANT legislators that spends 35-45 % more than we bring in each year. THIS person is trying to tell one of the most successful companies EVER how to run its business ??? Wow, what a gig............................................... er, maybe not so much. Go RV !!!

dinar stud, right there's the big problem. You really asking me to define communism to you ? Bing it or Google it, it's really easy to get definitions these days. You don't have to lug out the unabridged anymore. Quit being such a foolish person, and at least make an attempt to understand where this idiotic administration is leading us. BTW, thought it hilarious the other day when it came out that Gates said our VP hadn't been correct on foreign policy in forty years. How right he is !!

American Spring Coming May 16th 2014
eastcreek replied to jonjon's topic in Politics, 2nd Amendment (Gun Control)
Actually shabibi, I think the terms are fairly objectively used. Now, when one uses the term "misguided progressive," redundancy has set in. Go RV!!! -
The Global Warming Tipping Point is Near
eastcreek replied to divemaster5734's topic in Off Topic posts
Good find, divemaster. I'm right with you. Many, however, are as you stated still "low information" folks, AND they are voters. We have to continue getting the truth out there because we know that the koolaid drinkers have the POTUS and the bully pulpit in their corner right now. -
It’s Conservatives Who Really Want Christ Out of Christmas
eastcreek replied to dinar_stud's topic in Off Topic posts
Stud ( I doubt it), It's fairly clear that you have NO idea what Jesus said or the context in which He said it. For your edification, a simple lesson: Jesus said for individuals and groups of His followers to give to the poor, needy, et.al. Never ONCE did He say that the government should take money from us (taxes) and help those groups......... and IMHO, there are two basic reasons he does not say for our largesse to flow through government: 1.) after the government gets our money, we actually have no idea to whom it goes, nor why, and 2.) governments (coercive by their very nature) force us to give, whereas Jesus (Himself and through His Apostles) tells us to give freely (amount and instance). I certainly appreciate your uses of Scripture, however misguided and non-contextual they may be. Merry Christmas, and God bless.
