After reading some of the awesome posts lately relating to feelings, concerns, attitudes and frustrations, I thought a post should be made which more people might have an opportunity to read and which might shed some light on the overall picture. Maybe it will help.....maybe it won't. The rumor section seems to be the best place for it, as it is ALWAYS about the rumors. Most of us should have been intelligent enough from day one to understand that this is a longshot investment, and not without risk. .........approximately 40% for most. The "hook" is that the potential "reward" is unlike that in virtually any investment in the history of finance. Where 15% would be considered a great return in nearly any investment, this one has the potential to return percentage points in the thousands. The "mistake" which most have made is in having listened to the so-called gurus and never-ending rumors. Instead of making a one-time purchase of Dinars (one which they could easily afford) and putting them away, out of sight and out of mind, many have made purchases over and over again each time the gurus and rumors make "one more time" absolutely irresistable. Obviously, over a period of 7 years now, the dinar pumpers have become expert at knowing how to push these buttons. We have no way of knowing who these people are, but after literally thousands of invalidated rumors, countless RV dates come and gone, etc., etc., virtually everyone should know better than to believe them. Yet here we are, addicted to the excitement and unable to put the Dinar out of our minds. Inevitably, when things don't work out the way we are hoping, or the way others have promised, frustration and anger ensues. Had we made this initial purchase and walked away, ignoring the websites, the rumors and the endless stream of insane predictions as to rates and dates, there would have been very little, if ANY disappointment or frustration. The process would have gone on, beginning and hopefully ENDING in its own due time. There would have been no specific timelines or deadlines, because simple common sense should have told us that absolutely nobody whom any "guru" would ever have access to would risk their job, their freedom, and in fact, in many cases, their very LIVES to disclose what would have to be considered "top secret" intelligence information of the very highest level. It quite simply is not going to happen........ever. Experience has proven this to us over and over and OVER again, and yet we still come back every day for more. Why? In many cases it's simple addiction. In others it's an extreme interest in the process and the politics. Unfortunately, in many other cases, it's absolute desperation. Many people have invested far more than they can afford to lose, having been repeatedly convinced that this RV is imminent - going to happen any minute; any hour; any day; and by now, any YEAR. Many have lost homes, jobs, property, and even their lives waiting for this RV. Friends and family have been convinced that this is a can't lose, once-in-a lifetime opportunity after being presented with the now thousands of pages of irrefutable "evidence" (rumors) showing that we'll be millionaires "tomorrow." And then tomorrow never seems to come and everyone is disappointed.......again and again and again. BUT......the simple truth is that there were never any REAL guarantees. This might happen this week; this month; this year; next year, or possibly not at all. The few people who know for sure are VERY unlikely to tell us. Hopefully we've done our homework, and our belief that "something" has to happen with the Iraqi Dinar is justified and logical. I've studied this investment for several years now and I believe that it has solid potential. HOWEVER, I also know without a doubt that the rumors are ALWAYS wrong......every single one of the thousands we have seen over the past 7 years. As someone with a lot of experience in the intel game I can tell you that intelligence info is never 100% accurate, but it is also never 100% wrong as has been the case here. Some of the people bringing this "intel" undoubtedly have honorable intentions, having received this information from sources they truly believe to be reliable. Others do it for the attention, and still others undoubtedly have ulterior motives which we may never understand, not the least of which may be MONEY. People are taking advantage of our addictions, our interests, our needs and above all, our desperation. The reason these rumors keep coming unabated is because thousands of people are "listening" to them, and more importantly, "acting" on them. This RV will either happen or it won't, and will do so whether we're sitting here reading this stuff or NOT. It's not going to make a bit of difference whether we hear about it the minute it happens, or 5 days after. The best advice anyone can get is to walk away and let it happen when it happens. Don't tell ANYONE about your investment. Don't call the banks. Most people are going to think you're crazy, and others will use the info to your detriment if and when the RV happens. Trust me when I tell you that it's best that very few people, if any, know about this. An entire book could be written supporting this fact, but common sense should prevail here. Try to relax, sit back, and watch it unfold from a distance. Never believe the rumors, and more importantly, never act on them. Only the dealers (and possibly a few others) get rich when you do. Use your own best judgement and buy only what you can afford to live without. I could go on for hours, but I think this pretty well covers it. If you feel you have to watch this train wreck, try to be nice to everyone in the process and enjoy the ride. Good luck everybody!

All, I don’t know about you, but I’ve hitched my wagon to this train and I’m not getting off! Regardless of the negativity that flows, I’m all in, and I’d imagine most of you have the same attitude. Here’s WHY I’m all in… 1) The expectation that one day the Iraqi Dinar will gain in value is tied, in every way, to all my dreams about what I hoped I could be and do with my family and community. 2) I have heard from those involved in this “mess”, and they TOO are expecting it to eventually happen, whether that be hours, days, weeks, months, or years, it really doesn’t matter. 3) I have PLANS to help others that can’t be stopped by negativity! It’s time for those PLANS to soon be realized. 4) I believe we are part of something so significant, that no amount of negativity or debate can disuade my belief. 5) History always repeats itself. This will be no different. 6) Biblical prophecy speaks of the days to come where all nations of the earth will flow unto Babylon (Iraq), including merchants and kings and leaders. THIS is WHY… but they must first have an internationally recognized currency. 7) Because I have faith in things that I can’t see, but know to be true. The specifics of the gains to be had are yet to be revealed, but the reality is still imminent… in my opinion. 8 ) To rip this away from me would be to destroy any hope of anything better than what we are facing. Should this never happen, we would be facing much more horrific problems throughout the world. 9) In every way, the dreams that have been rekindled, or even created, since knowing about this are worth every penny I invested into the Dinar. 10) Most of the money I invested in this currency would have been BLOWN by me by now anyway, so it’s as though it’s already gone for me, but with a dream and a promise for more in the future. 11) We are HEARING of changes within the worldwide economic/monetary system? Where are they? What’s going to drive them? What will they look like? I don’t know about you, buy my money (literally and figuratively) is on the fact that IRAQ is right at the center of it all. Please don’t allow the lack of events yesterday/today to get you down. I warned you about this exact moment a few days ago. Why did I warn you? Here’s why… 1) Because the information that GAVE you the “expectations” was coming from people who are in no better situation that YOU. They are people like you who are waiting on the Dinar to revalue, and as such, aren’t in a position to know everything they are sharing. They just happen to be lucky enough to know someone in a better position than they are who shares what they know, which isn’t always right. 2) Because Iraq marches to the beat of its own drum. As such, you should NEVER place yourself in a situation where you EXPECT this to happen at a specific time. 99.99% chance it WILL not happen when you think it will. You honestly think they will tell us when this thing will pop? Not a chance! 3) I have learned through sad experience that even those who are in the highest positions of the land can be wrong about this. Apparently, only Shabibbi and his bosses (Rothschilds own CBI) know the answer to when this will happen. 4) I don’t believe ANY INFORMATION (I’ve said this a number of times) shared with me, but I am grateful for ALL of it, I respect the sharer, and I store it away as more information to reference as I move along for greater insight and understanding. 5) Because I was worried about so many of you and your expectations. I know so many are hurting and needing this so badly. I just didn’t want others’ words to hurt you further should you also be faced with the disappointment of this not happening when they shared it would happen. This ride will eventually come to an end. The question is… can you wait that long? I pray that you can endure the storm and patiently await the day. In my opinion… it IS coming! I just don’t know when…

All, Here are a couple of things to ponder and why I believe the RV will happen sooner rather than later. This of course is my opinion based on some logical thinking and some facts that have come out in the news recently. Logical point #1, Welfare Funding runs out in Iraq. Excerpt from article: Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi promised that parliament would push the Iraqi government for answers on where the money went. But he said new funding for the nation's social care programs will have to come out of the 2011 budget, which he said would be sent to parliament within days. He said the Finance Ministry recently alerted parliament of the cash drain. A Finance Ministry official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media put the 2010 welfare budget total at about $1 billion. He would not say what caused the shortfall. "We will ask the government about this — if there is any carelessness or delaying these payments," said al-Nujaifi, a Sunni member of the Iraqiya political alliance. • New funding will have to come out of the 2011 Budget……..HMMMM where the RV rate is? • The Finance Minister official would not say what caused the shortfall………Of course he would not say…….read between the lines. • Ask the GOI if there is any carelessness or delaying of these payments?..........Are you serious? What this tells me is that Iraq was supposed to RV already. This is the reason for the delaying of these payments. The GOI wants to restore the wealth to the Iraqi people? Yeah…..OK……But not too much wealth. Parliament sure found a way to be paid $22,500.00 USD per month as well as a one-time $90,000 stipend and perks like free nights in Baghdad’s finest hotels. This is really pathetic. This tells me that they are waiting for the new rate of the Iraqi Dinar and it seems like they will wait to pay the “others” when the RV takes effect when the 2011 Budget is ratified and approved. Logical Point #2, CBI Currency Auction 11/22/2010 Link: Thanks to Doc31 for his persistent and meaningful updates every day. This tells us: • 30 Straight Zero Cash days.....Unprecedented • Spot Oil = $83.81 PB.....still hanging in there • Spot Gold = $1359.70......still outrageously high Doc explains this very nicely so there is no need for me to be redundant. I will add to this by saying that Iraq is through giving away free money. With all of this said, IMO, the GOI is waiting to pay everyone else outside of their friends and family because they want to keep their pockets lined and you know that saying “he who has the gold, makes the rules.” The GOI has sucked the money dry from the people and will pay them upon the RV rate of the currency which will give them “some” purchasing power. Yes, I see that it SAYS because of the feast ... but 1) why didn't it affect other SmartCards 2) they didn't know the feast was coming and they made an error? ... please 3) why single out this group ... why not all groups because the feast caused some type of timing problem with the cards ... or WHY NOT LET THEM SUFFER LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER CITIZENS/VETERANS/RETIREES/GOVT WORKERS? 4) WHY THROUGH THE 25th? ... is it a significant date? 5) does this coincide with what we've heard that al-Maliki has requested a holiday? Could this all be because journalists are included in this bunch and have the propensity to give them "bad press". The answer is I simply don't know but it seems really "fishy" to me. I just received a very short e-mail from Steve I sent from his cell phone. Steve followed this up with a very short phone call saying that he would send me another e-mail with a couple of paragraphs of his thoughts. I will add this to this thread. You may have read another thread here where a moderator on another forum (also named Steve), said that we are basicallly in a QUIET PERIOD right now. Please do NOT confuse the two Steves. I would not expect much new news from our SteveI, zzzzzzzzz or any of the others in that group who had promised another conference call or round table audio. Things are always changing in Iraq, and we have learned over the last few weeks that sometimes there is valid reason for the changes or delays. Another thought: The 15-day period after Nov 11 falls on Nov 26 which is the date that had been stated for making a new holiday in Iraq. We all hope we will have news before that date. Let's do our best to be patient throughout this week. In the meantime, stay in the spirit of Thanksgiving, our holiday here in the United States. And as Steve I would say.... "God Bless".

* OOney Rumor11/21/10 November 21, 2010 06:26 pm My aunt is a flight attendent for United Airlines. She has been getting Dinar from Kuwait for me for a great price. She SAW the lower denoms. (5′s and 1′s) from the exchange she gets her Dinars. This is good! But, this is not the best part! She was on a FULL plane today. They were filled with contractors who recently got PAID. The banks are closed in Iraq now, so the contractors(big Dogs) could not go out and buy more Dinars! SO, what a better time than to RV/RI NOW while the contractors are gone!!!!! The respective countries will cover the money exchange. You see like Frank was saying Iraq would not want to put the 000 back into circulation by selling to the contractors. So close the banks and RV/RI before the contractors come back!! My aunt says they will be back after the holidays, flights going in next Sunday the 28th, So look for this week?

Seriously why do you even post or come on to chat anymore. OK so you were wrong about the 2nd, of Nov. Boo Hoo, big deal get over it. You used to be such a nice person and I looked forward to your information on the dinar. Now it's to the point I click ignore on your name whenever I see you in chat because you offer absolutely nothing but negative remarks. Yea yea yea I can here you say I'm just keeping it real. What a bunch of crap. The only thing real you are keeping is a whiney attitude. Grow up and get a pair. We don't need rumors about what is going on we have the facts. More progress has been made in the last 2 weeks than has been made in 8 months. This is moving forward and moving fast. I guarantee I'm not the only person who is sick of your cry baby antics.

I know this is going to sound a bit BIZARRE , but what Steve was saying is EXACTLY what the Lord has been saying to me about this RV. It is not solely about US getting blessed, but about us preparing for the upcoming battle that is swiftly moving upon us. I feel He is saying," Get out of debt, and then I will tell you what my wishes are for the rest of MY money!"He will only be giving to those who will hear His voice on what to do with it.......thus the many Christians that have been privy to this information from the start...........He has a plan!!! In this sense, I suspect, I am not a whole lot different than Glen Beck, who has had the audacity to speak to the same topic exactly that I spoke to just the last time we had our call. If you did not see this you might want to find it. He talked about “gratitude” to God on his entire show on Friday night. However, he made a transition statement that was extremely important for us to understand. He began to talk about how a “gift” to a person might become an “entitlement”. The problem, of course, is that a person, who receives a gift, especially if it is large, might receive it without the ability to give it back. This is a serious problem for us for the future. Jesus stated it so clearly, and I will paraphrase what he must have said: “Why would I give you a fish, when I could teach you how to fish?” Now we have come to the biggest problem of giving: How can I give and make my gift have value to the persons to whom I have given it? I want to deal with this, but I have to say some related comments first. We have talked about millions of dollars of commitments over the last few weeks. It all sounds amazing. Truly it can be amazing. But the reality is that people who receive gifts may, ultimately, see them as entitlements. This has been proven by our own government when the Great Society of Lyndon Johnson created the welfare state. What happened? We have history to show us. Fathers in poor neighborhoods left their homes in order that the mothers could have welfare. Then, to make problems worse, the mothers had children simply in order to increase the welfare payments. If you are not aware of this reality, you might want to look into it. The Reagan revolution broke this cycle of receiving “gifts” which led to an entire subculture of persons who lived to receive “gifts” from the government. President Reagan broke the cycle with the concept of “workfare”, not only in California as a governor but also as president of the USA. The result of his efforts was, without question, the biggest increase in the growth of the American economy that has ever existed. It was so huge, based on his reduction of taxes combined with his elimination of the “Great Society”, that it outlasted his own presidency and all of the Clinton years as well. I have no desire to talk politics here. Look at the facts and convince yourself that it was the Reagan Revolution that made the 8 years of Clinton a “cake walk”. The growth was so great that Clinton had to do essentially NOTHING to create a surplus in his last 2 years of office. The Reagan Revolution lasted 20 years. Enough on that. The history is what it is. Only a liberal would deny the reality of the power of lower taxes. Let me get back to my essential point. My point is that giving has problems, and we need to look at this with sobriety. As the potential recipients of the greatest gift of mankind in a short time ever, about which I will have more to say in the future, we are going to be placed in a position of power. Our power will not be obvious, because, as it is in God’s plan, we will not be “organized” as a government is, or as “MoveOn.Org” is. Instead, we will exist throughout the entire planet, surprisingly enough, as a burgeoning force that has finally been given the one thing that it needs to be effective: money. I need you all to know that what is coming is enormous! It is our combined reaction to this event that will transform the world. Somehow I am not confident that you get it, yet. PART 3: So, I will say this in another way, and then maybe you will get it: The Post RV party is not the result of our benefit; it is only the beginning of it. I have pre-empted TerryK here because I don’t want his efforts to be shortsighted. His vision is enormous, without question. The GET Team site has gone far beyond other sites entirely due to his efforts. No other site can even approach the level of understanding of what is occurring with this event. Now, having said what I have said, you will all realize that I have totally stepped over the line. I have done so not because I want any credit due to my simple statement of the reality that is coming. This is way larger than me, simply put. And the RV cannot, in my opinion, be forestalled much longer. It must and will happen. It is destined to be. Forces much larger than me are at work here. I am only attempting to put a perspective on what will happen. Now, the problem that I face is that there will be folks who control the world that don’t like my interpretation of the results of their actions. They may have other motivations. No, better said, they do have other motivations. However, this process is neither in their hands nor in mine. What a hoot! We are no longer, in my opinion, in the “rate and date” phase of our waiting, my friends. Instead we are in the “waiting on God” phase. This little RV thing is so much bigger than our individual investments. Do you GET IT, yet? Now, I am fully aware that many, if not most of you, are suffering financially. I am further aware that many, if not most of you, hang on my every word. Imagine, if you will, that I know this, that I care, and that I still proceed to do what I do. I can’t say this more clearly: I’m scared to death! Now, as I close this little talk with trepidation, let me place a concept in front of you that might just blow your minds. Let’s just suppose that the Post RV party is only the beginning. Let’s just suppose that it is instead a “meeting of the minds of Christ”. Are you with me still? Do you have a clue as to where I am going now? Are you beginning to realize the POWER behind this event that will be unleashed? And do you now know why we have drawn attention to ourselves? This is so much larger than the GOI of Iraq, its formation, and the IMF, and the UN and Chapter 7. All of these issues are small potatoes, in my opinion. Perhaps that is why I’ve come under so much attention. I may disappear, but this event will happen. Furthermore, the results of this event will shake the earth. I stand by my statement: this event will shake the earth! I hope that I will be able to participate in it. I hope that TK’s Post RV party will be only the beginning of it. I hope that we all will teach people how to fish rather than just giving them a fish! I am now ready to come back to my original point: how can we give without having our giving become an entitlement? If you have followed me thus far, you will realize that the answer was given to us by Jesus 2000 years ago. We must learn to teach our recipients how to fish, rather than just give them a fish. It is not something that I am proud of, because in most cases I have found that the very point I brought up above applies to me. That point, again, is simple: giving tends to make people feel entitled to your giving. So how will we deal with this? From this point on, I am relying on the Lord for advice, since I suffer from this problem. OK, let’s work this through. Fortunately I have His own words to give me direction, so I will present them and then, hopefully, apply them. The first thing to know is that He does not expect us to solve the world’s problems with our money. How do I know that? It is simple. He said, and again I will paraphrase since my Bible isn’t open: “The poor you will have with you always.” Therefore we need not expect that He expects us to solve all of the world’s problems with our newfound wealth. Whew! That makes me feel a little safer! So what does He want us to do? I’m going on a limb here, and I’m going to assume that the vast majority of the listeners on this call are Christians. If they are, then I am on safe ground. If they are not, then they might want to listen more carefully, since we are now into the realm of, and I will emphasize this, “how the world works”. Christians will get this because it will ring true to them. Others will hopefully get this because it is true. I don’t think I need to go further on that point. It is my firm opinion that He wants us to prepare for tough times ahead. I will sit here in silence until that sinks in. I will give you all 10 seconds to get it. Now, having said that, I will state that the fact that I said it has nothing to do with you. I will wait another 10 seconds for that to sink in. OK, hopefully I have your attention now. The question is now rephrased: How can my giving prepare others for the tough times ahead? Should I wait another 10 seconds while this sinks in? Some of you may hang up now because you think I’ve gone off the wall. I really don’t care. I’m only interested in talking to those of you who know where I am coming from. We now can see that we have two more important issues to deal with when our blessing comes in. We will add them to the two I mentioned in the last call. In that call I talked about giving as a part of God’s plan, but also about not expecting a reward for the giving. I also talked about giving anonymously, to the extent that you can. Tonight I am adding two more important issues to consider. The first is that we must give wisely so that we do no harm the receiver of the gift. We must give a hand up to a new dignity for the recipient, not just a hand out. And the second important issue is that our giving opportunity must be directed to prepare others for the tough times that are coming. As you know, I am a student of the Bible. I firmly believe that this blessing is God’s down payment for our protection in the future. We must not squander this opportunity. Finally, I will repeat what I said just a few moments ago so that it will be the last thing you hear: It is my firm opinion that God is giving us this gift to allow us to prepare for what is coming. It is also my opinion that this gift is given to prepare others for what is coming, and not just ourselves. In the next call, hopefully after the RV, I will expand on my comments. In the meantime we will just all have to wait and see how this plays itself out, won’t we? Now, as I said in my last call, I’ve spent the majority of my life trying to understand how God works in our lives. Therefore, while I could be wrong, I don’t think I am on these points. This came from "do not mention other sites" I had a nice long talk with my partner in Baghdad yesterday. This delay took me by surprise only because of the statements that Talabani’s intentions of hosting a celebration for Maliki on Sunday would have been for a worthy cause, not to celebrate yet another delay in moving backwards with more delays. The reason they can and do get away with this is because they can and probably will for years to come. I have been personally been told contracts are being signed but not executed as we speak. In speaking to my partner he expressed to me a very valid point. These people over here are only used to a Dictatorship where they are told what to do. The dictatorship of Saddam was handed over to the US government via the “care-taker government”. Dave (my Iraqi partner) has been hearing that the blocs are not used to sharing or compromising with anyone. This is a very new concept. He told me from what he heard the budget was done. This echoed throughout the world stating the price (per barrel of oil) of which the budget was based on. I do not rely on the news from Iraq because it changes day to day, but I do rely on my partner that is in the middle of this and is sharing to the best of his ability. From what I read before I left on vacation, the budget was based on an even higher rate than predicted previously. I am trying to spend more time now during this holiday with my new wife and family. She deserves some quality time now and I will make every effort to do that and keep all of you with information as I get it. Please do not look for a post that is meaningless because you are probably getting enough of those. I have never predicted a rate, however shared my opinions based on facts and knowledge from our contracts and what we feel is achievable to establish a strong Iraq economy for years to come. Now for predicting a date when this happens, I will let a higher power take on that one. It is all out of our control as to timing. It has to be within a reasonable timeframe because the commencement of many projects (infrastructure internally, and externally) is dependent on it. One last comment regarding the UN, IMF. Remember Iraq has not had the Chapter 7 sanctions lifted (removed) yet. Remember the conditions that have to be met before they are. So please consider this as an insurance policy for us. Also, Kuwait will not allow a weak currency from Iraq because of the oil sharing agreements that are in place. So with that being said, let’s all work together here as a family and if someone is down, let’s give them a boost and pick them back up because teamwork divides the effort and multiplies the effect because getting gratifies, but sharing satisfies! 2010 is not over yet, we've got a lot of impatient new folks on here which has been severely distressing to all the forums, and I personally attribute that to Facebook and the website owners who have made themselves known on there, and now this is starting to spread like wildfire. We all know the facts, we all see exactly what is happening, so what if the announcement is not until Thursday? M still has 15 to 30 days to make the announcement, I'm pretty sure there are many backdoor deals that have transpired and those in the know are the only ones who know. We are not privy to much of what goes on there at the higher political levels, some may have contacts in regards to it, but that doesn't mean that what they say will happen due to the fact that' IT'S IRAQ folks!!!! That would be our Christmas day should he go the full 30 days, he has already stated publicly that he would make it the fastest seating ever in their govt. course that doesn't mean a whole lot since it's the first democratic govt. they've ever had...lol. Course it will be the fastest...lol It'll happen when it happens, people are living their lives based on this happening tomorrow EVERYDAY, because of some irresponsible people who post dates and rates continuously and have for quite some time. The complexity of what is transpiring in this country is history in the making, pay attention to it, virtually everything is in place, more happens on a daily basis, the representatives will be in meetings all this week, sit back, watch, wait and learn. We all know it's going to happen. They will not blow off the contracts and take on trillions of debt, I won't believe that for a minute, they are not that ignorant. The missing person that you have said is a "local police problem" is part of the war reparations with Kuwait and is part of the Chapter 7. This "BS" as you call it is still being hammered out. Iraq has not found all the people or bodies that Saddam Hussein kidnapped and killed during that war. And btw their police force is still in its infancy and they are not completely equipped to handle every "little BS call". The US is still advising their forces. Although government operations have continued during the eight months since the election, the price of the stalemate is being felt on the streets, as evidenced by a statement on Sunday by Osama al-Najafi, the new speaker of Parliament, that said he had received a letter from the government admitting it no longer had enough money to make welfare payments to widows, the unemployed and other needy Iraqis. He said Iraq would not be able to resume that aid until a new budget was passed. Sounds like they are broke and look who is the first to suffer!! It's the ones that are suffering already!! WOW!! :(

Well said Buckweat. Just lately the moaning of supposed grown up men is pathetic. And for the last few days the best feature on this forum has been the ignore button for me. And no, I don't live in a fantasy world, but frankly after all that has gone on this year, it's now time for looking at the much bigger picture instead of the childish, selfish comments of the 'poor me's' on this site. As a vet flying numerous combat missions over Iraq, I can't stand people have no intestinal fortitude and look at things as a "glass half empty" when things don't go their way! Council of Ministers discusses 2011 budget tomorrow 22/11/2010 Baghdad / November 22 (Rn) - The adviser in the Iraqi government, on Monday, the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday will read the terms of the budget in 2011. The Economic Adviser peace Qureshi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "a meeting on Tuesday to the Council of Ministers will read the details of the budget in 2011 is then sent to the House of Representatives for discussion and approval before the start of next year." From a Recon Marine in Afghanistan From the Sand Pit it's freezing here. I'm sitting on hard, cold dirt between rocks and shrubs at the base of the Hindu Kush Mountains , along the Dar 'yoi Pomir River , watching a hole that leads to a tunnel that leads to a cave. Stake out, my friend, and no pizza delivery for thousands of miles. I also glance at the area around my ass every ten to fifteen seconds to avoid another scorpion sting. I've actually given up battling the chiggers and sand fleas, but the scorpions give a jolt like a cattle prod. Hurts like a bastard.. The antidote tastes like transmission fluid, but God bless the Marine Corps for the five vials of it in my pack. The one truth the Taliban cannot escape is that, believe it or not, they are human beings, which means they have to eat food and drink water. That requires couriers and that's where an old bounty hunter like me comes in handy. I track the couriers, locate the tunnel entrances and storage facilities, type the info into the handheld, shoot the coordinates up to the satellite link that tells the air commanders where to drop the hardware. We bash some heads for a while, then I track and record the new movement. It's all about intelligence. We haven't even brought in the snipers yet. These scurrying rats have no idea what they're in for. We are but days away from cutting off supply lines and allowing the eradication to begin. I dream of bin Laden waking up to find me standing over him with my boot on his throat as I spit into his face and plunge my nickel-plated Bowie knife through his frontal lobe. I've been living with these Tajiks and Uzbeks, and Turkmen and even a couple of Pushtuns, for over a month-and-a-half now, and this much I can say for sure - these guys, all of 'em, are Huns... actual, living Huns. They LIVE to fight. It's what they do. It's ALL they do. They have no respect for anything, not for their families, nor for each other, nor for themselves. They claw at one another as a way of life. They play polo with dead calves and force their five-year-old sons into human cockfights to defend the family honor. Let's do our best to keep this one bash-free and simply wait for updates from SteveI. Remember, this is his first QUALITY time with his new wife's family... yet he is still willing to share his thoughts and what he hears from his intel in Iraq. Rev. Dan I've been bashed a lot for my views and in the beginning I took it to heart. Many a night I tossed and turned over something someone wrote in a response to a post I made. Now I've been in this a little while and I've come to realize that it is out of frustration that people bash one anoher. It is right that they question the guru's, it is right that they question the validity of this investment. They have been led down the garden path time and time again by the gurus. More dates and rates have come and gone since i've been in this than I care to remember. Expectations are elevated by the gurus everyday and everyday there is the big let down. Again, It is right for them to question this investment. And while they are at it they should also question why they keep on believing the koolaid that is fed to them on a daily basis. They probaby got into like the rest of us did, someone they knew, a family member or a friend, believed the hype that the gurus spouted and they were so excited about the fact they were going to become millionairs any day now that they just had to tell their best friend or another family member. So now we have two people that are let down. And because the guru's spout this hype every day of the week it just multiplys and the list goes on and on. This is the best thing to have happened to the dealers since the invention of the calculator! Is it any wonder that people are frustrated? If you told me to buy this today and wait 5 years or so and I'd have a chance to double or even triple my money, I would buy and wait, no hype, no frustration, just wait and if in 5 years or so if it didn't pan out.....oh well! But noooooooo on these sites you have people who are seemingly in the know and also some very smart cookies who can make pretty graphs, who are telling you sorry it didn't happen today, but the next date that it is sure to happen is next Friday ! And you tell them that week after week! Well you have them on the hook don't you? I don't get angry anymore, I am resigned that maybe it won't happen at all. Afterall, there is nothing, and I have researched this, that says they have to RV. You have a lot of people that are hurting economically and are hoping that this rv will save them because other than this, there probably is nothing to save them. It's a shame some people have decided to profit from others misery. So don't get angry when they bash, they are frustrated and where else are they going to voice that frustration? They are going to voice it where others will perhaps agree or at least understand. For all of you guys out there that are frustrated, you are not alone! But what can we do? I'll tell you. You go to work or look for work, you pretend that you never heard the word dinar. Take care of yourselves, take care of your families, go apply for assistance if you need to. The frustrating part is even though there is no money left to pay even the poor widows,and one would believe this should be motivation enough to form the govt quickly, Maliki has 30 days to get its cabinet together which makes me nervous. Does he need 30 days? Why would he need 30 days? I hope he does not need 30 days. Could be a smoke screen to make it look like they are a long way off forming but if it is why upset the people further with delays and risk civil uprising? I believe the Iraqi people have been more than patient and this is a pressure cooker waiting to blow. It is quite a balancing act the Iraq govt is playing. Maybe Maliki is really having issues putting his cabinet together and needs the 30 days. What do you bet, now that the 21st has come and is almost gone, that now NOVEMBER 26th will be plastered all over the forums as the next RV date. People have to realize that even when they finally get this government formed, there are TONS of kinks that need to be ironed out. I am a firm believer that this will happen, and quite possibly by the end of the year, but counting my chickens before they hatch only leaves me with disappointment and frustration and I just feel for those who get set on a date, stay up all night at the computer just waiting for that news to arrive when they firmly believed that it was going to happen, only to see another delay. I'm not being Negative Nancy, just Realistic Rachel to avoid dealing with the sinking feeling that comes with disappointment. Like I have said to all of you before, I do feel for all of you who have been on the rollercoaster for years now and nothing urks me more than to see so many post dates every month and see hopes get high on that date specified. IT WILL HAPPEN IT IS COMING, but for those of you who get stuck on dates, try your best not too, just be happy you have made an investment and that those nest eggs will hatch soon.
