Why post a title like this? I mean really. "Iraq budget announcement. Rv in the budget" Let use some common sense please here folks! This title looks as though you have intel that the Budget has been announced. Are you kidding me? I almost had a heart attack. Next time how about a title like " budget question". Thanks. In my mind, the existence of lower denoms at the banks would constitute reasonable "proof" that our RV will become reality. They would serve no purpose without one. PROOF is defined as reliable evidence of fact. To date, we have seen none, aside from an article stating that 14 different notes were printed, and only 7 are in circulation.. This topic has been the subject of thousands of posts over the past 18 months, but we've yet to see the proof, despite numerous claimed "confirmations" of their presence at the banks. OKIE claims to have pictures of them, but insists that he doesn't know how to post them. With literally thousands of members on his home site, one would think that at least one of them would know how to post a photo. If this evidence isn't reasonably close to "proof" beyond a reasonable doubt that his photo doesn't exist, one would be hard pressed to demonstrate what is. The picture claimed to be of lower denoms discussed today in another thread proved to be of Saudi Riyals rather than Dinars, after many people became needlessly excited about this new claim of "proof." The claim of lower denoms being stored at the banks awaiting imminent distribution has been around for at least 18 months now that I can remember. This rumor always causes great excitement, and justifiably so.....IF it were true. Until these rumors are replaced by valid "proof," they result in more problems than benefit, and shouldn't be posted. People are desperate to believe, and are therefore easy to take advantage of.

I didn't make anything up a-hole. I just said I would check to see if this rumor is true, I am doing everyone on this site a favor by either confirming the rumor or debunking it. Why don't you try comprehending the posts instead of jumping to conclusions.

Please people, if you wish to believe Okie that's OK, but someone I converse that knows him says he works in a grocery store. Not bashing, but please stay grounded, I am sorry, but several yrs ago I called him out with numerous oil field questions, he always had to leave due to an Intel phone call coming in, by the way I have 30 yrs in oil and gas, he never once answered a question about oil and gas. We buy into thoughts / purported facts in this deal that most of us would never buy into in other facets of life we deal with every day. I guess because most want it to happen so badly. OK, in a simple form: 2.3 mil barrels per day of exported oil at 60 per barrel = $138,000,000 of daily revenue due to oil 2.3 mil barrels per day of exported oil at 73 per barrel = 167,000,000 of daily revenue due to oil Diff per day is an extra 29,900,000 per day 29,900,000 per day x 365 days per year is an "extra" 10.9 bil added to the annual budget.... Which supports Shabibibibibibi when he says "Our country is LOADED beyond anyone can fathom" or something like that.. Let me ask the question, Does an extra 10.9 bil in their budget support a higher RV RATE?????

I think it will be announced on the 21st/22ND but will be about the 25 to the 28th before it goes into effect. They will stop selling the Dinar upon the announcement and the dealers will have to account for what they still hold immediately. Mods move if this is in wrong spot. I want all to know I have deleated one of the dinar forums from my favorites after spending most of the day fixing my system. My system was over taken by a trojan that was loaded on to my system while reading one of the dinar forums. The forum in question has been putting out warnings about the trojan and or virus on their site today. I will not name the forum but it is known as a "central hub" of information about the dinar. I almost lost everything and I also had someone access my system and begin downloading my personal information but was able to catch and block the data transfer right as it began. I was also hit with a fake add ware bug from the same trojan that was attempting to get credit card / banking info from me. Just a heads up to all...I was lucky to have good system back up and the know how to scrub and reload vital info but I did have to pay big bucks for an updated scan and anti virus software pack I picked up at the Geek Squad. IF i would not have had my back up and IF i did not know how to do the work to my system (which took 2-3 hrs) my system would be in the shop for a week and would have cost me a few hundred bucks. IMO, I've spent 27 months in Iraq, many issues arise, infrastructure to say the least. These are a proud people. IMO, everyday, now brings us closer to an RV. All these people who think it was going to happen 2 or 3 years ago, seriously a war was going on. Now since last year and the SOFA agreement and the with drawl of troops(this year), this is the birth of a country. If their money does not RV or regain strength, it would be like Iowa's money a the same value as the current dinar and all the surrounding states are at the current USD value. How could anyone travel, do business or do anything in the surrounding states, they could not! This is my thinking behind my support for an RV anytime here on out. Sounds like you are having a lot of problems with this investment. I know a lot of people have invested there last penny in buying dinar. That is not the way to do it. You should only buy what you can afford to loose. Not saying that you are going to loose it. But if you need the money right now to pay bills, don't use it to buy more dinar. Pay your bills. The Rv will happen in time. I use to get all excited and when I wasn't working spend a lot of time on the computer looking and looking. Well I stopped doing that, put my resume out there, got several interviews and got a job. Now I only spend maybe 1 to 2 hours a day when I am not working on the computer. I use to get all worked up about it, now I have told myself that it will come when the good lord above is ready for it to come. And believe me I want it to RV sooner than later, because the sooner it RV's the sooner I will get to have my husband home and not in Iraq. I am tired of having a marriage over the telephone. He has been there for 5 years now. Not straight he has come home for R&R. But this time it has been 8 months since I have seen him. So please don't get yourselves worked up over the RV. Please do NOT place too much expectation into Sunday being the day where we will hear/see an RV of the Iraqi Dinar. I’ve been through TOO MANY of these days where the entire online Dinar world was expecting something due to so many hearing similar things. I’ve learned through hard experience that I can’t rely on ANY specific information to be true about Iraq. I’ve even told you several times that you should believe NO ONE in this investment who shares information about the timing of the RV, and especially the rate, including me. I have told you that I don’t believe ANY information I hear, but I take it all in as just more information to be aware of. Please take it in, but get your emotions in check about it happening. I’ve been talking myself out of believing this all week. I’m still “prayerfully hopeful”, but that’s as far as I can go anymore. You would be wise to do the same. I woke up with literal nervous energy pulsating through my body, and I don’t want that for you if you can help it. Anyway, please take care of yourself this way if you can. I wish you all my very best through this challenging and confusing investment!

Possum just got through spanking momma for showing some unbelief. I assure you that momma has no disbelief now and she's getting ready to make Possum grin if you know what he means. I thought this was a blog for posting whatever we find that at least is assumed to be new info? Wow, you folks act like I wrote this article. I was just trying to pass along anything current that I haven't seen here. No wonder those that share intel here get tired of even posting anything because of the negative feedback and complaints or just rude comments. Some need to grow up. He is saying that the $8 rate is too high...hence his 'change back' comment. I am giving him loads of respect for posting despite all the NEGATIVE people who really seem to enjoy their negativity and want to bring others down to their level. Give the rest of us some credit for intelligence...we are adults and able to make our own decisions on what or whom to believe. My 2 cents - this is not really Okie - but an imposter. Okie has never said the rate would be $8.....so I think someone is messing with our heads. Also - he says in this post that Frank is stuck on the .86 rate but Frank definitely never been a believer of the .86 rate - never! He is stuck on high $3 rate but never .86. I think we have an imposter on our hands! JMHO Peace.

It doesnt appear your including 3 very important pieces in your analysis: 1- fractional banking in the US accounts for 97% of our money supply. So the reported money supply on our side is much more. 2- Yes, Iraq printed and even reportedly circulated 25T in dinars but their own finance ministers have reported they have pulled back 50-80% (no one really knows at this point the actual amount) through various mechanisms and programs. 3- Large countries, like the US, China, England, France, etc own and hold very large sums of the dinar that is for multiple reasons: an investment for a return, in place of forgiven Iraqi debt, to hold in a basket of currencies to support our and the other countries dollars, and also to purchase cheap oil in the future on credits. I feel because of these and other reasons your analysis is inaccurate from the start. Bottom line is Iraq's asset base is too strong to have such an undervalued currency on the world stage- which they will be involved in shortly. When this currency revalues to its correct level it will be much higher than the "double" your mentioning. No disrespect to you and your analysis as i am not an economist but if you were No. 1 or 2 in the world in oil reserves and your country was the cheapest to extract it out of the ground, and you were No. 1 in natural gas, and sulpher, and had tons of gold reserves, and tons of money and gold and such locked in foreign vaults that will be freed to you once your out of chapter 7 bankruptcy, and had tremendous potential to offer water and agriculture to the entire middle east....and you were attracting a tremendous influx of foreign capital from all over the world which will all spur internal economic development, you wouldnt have a currency that would undermine all of this. You would have a strong solid currency that could stand on its own on the world stage so you can offer your entire asset base, including the foreign investments, to the world stage. Watch for a much higher RV than a double.

Ok I can see alot of questions out there about the RV. There IS a strong possibility the RV could be figured in the 2011 budget. There are big questions on why the 2011 budget has not already cleared as they could do that in a day or two. There has to be a reason for the delay other than the Gov. Although it has not been varified as a fact as of yet that the 2011 budget will carry the RV we still need to look at the big picture right now. Iraq is being pressured by many different scources to RV. One of the big ones is the WTO. Even other M Eastern countries are wanting them to RV. It is a popular opinion they will have to RV soon and can not wait much longer one way or the other. We ALL need to keep watching for the signs that will indicate the coming of the RV. Stay focused and watch because someone over there will slip-up sooner or later with some info. Hang in there and I will pass on any news as soon as I get it. Keep the faith and hope for the best.

At least a few people that are there can look into this to debunk this rumor or if in fact it maybe something to it or maybe true. People will believe what they want. That is why some will give green dots to positive posts and red dots to posts that contain information they don't want to hear. Ok, I figured I would make a post about why a redenomination would go against everything that the Iraqi govt and the IMF have been trying to accomplish for so long in regards to them wanting to restore the wealth to the people of Iraq and in a way compensate them for the years of misery and struggle that they have had to go through to get to this point in time. We all know its been stated for years now and even now Pres. Talabani and Maliki have openly stated they as well want to bring the wealth and fortune back to the people. Im going to use smaller numbers as to make it easier to explain and understand. Lets just say for a moment that they do redenominate and that every citizen is required to turn in their 25,000 dinar note for a 25 dinar note. And lets say for example (again these numbers are just made up) that a loaf of bread is 1000 dinar now. After this redenomination lets say that a loaf of bread is now only 1 dinar. Nothing is gained by this transformation. Nothing at all. That citizen is still left with the same amount of cash only downsized. Other things besides bread are also transformed in value so it works out to almost being an even exchange. It doesnt matter what the rate is on this new 25 dinar note because that does not matter INSIDE the country.....It only makes a difference when exchanging for another currency. So forget about that all together. At the end of the day they havent lost anything and they havent gained anything because purchasing power adjusted along with it and they are still left with next to nothing to be able to survive....to be able to buy food and pay bills and things of that sort. So it basically doesnt help the citizens situation at all.....they are left back where they started at the beginning...barely being able to buy the things necessary to survive....the bills they had were just downsized......so that goes against all these promises to the people of restoring the wealth like we have been hearing by the higher ups in the Iraqi govt. Now for the other side.....if they take the smaller denoms that were printed back in 2006 and simply release them into the marketplace to be used right along side the bills that are out now and adjust the purchasing power along with it, then that actually makes the citizens gain so much more!!! Instead of trading that 25,000 dinar note for a 25 dinar note, they are just getting change for it and ending up with 25,000 1 dinar notes. Now that citizen is left with 25,000 dinar still, and that bread is still now only 1 dinar. Thats instant wealth for the people......that brings the purchasing power as well.....so if they have 50,000 dinar, it stays 50,000 dinar and they are able to buy so much more with that money now. It perfectly accomplishes their mission of ending the struggle and misery for the people and restoring the riches that they so deserve for being dragged through all the nonsense the past couple decades. Its the easiest way to do it....period.....it reduces the need for the large cash transactions as well when they refer to people having to carry around bags of money for simple transactions. Which is another thing they have talked about wanting to accomplish. Its really the easy way out.....I hope that this makes sense the way im explaining it.... lol Its been a long day and this is the best I can do right now lol This process really isent going to cost Iraq much from our side of things either.....some are thinking its going to cost Iraq trillions to exchange us speculators out as well....But thats not fully correct either.....We all know by now that we are not going to get the EXACT CBI rate that is released when we cash in......the CBI bank charges a spread to EVERYONE....so thats a source of profit on the simple returning of the bills to the CBI.....its no different from our banks here charging us a spread to exchange the dinar....it rolls all the way down the hill if you know what I mean.....because our banks will not get the exact rate either when they turn in our bills.....and its not like the CBI is just forking over all this money....they have TONS of USD in reserve to exchange for the dinar.....its an exchange of one money for another....not much else to it then that.....The CBI will not be losing or gaining money. other wise they would never raise the value because they know they are going to get hit with people wanting to exchange for USD.......there is plenty to cover any exchange especially for a small amount of us speculators......which we are just a spec on their windshield compared to the number of people in their country......and its not hard to exchange physical currency for electronic funds.....it actually makes it easier...and with the dinar being a fiat currency as we have heard, it doesnt necessarily have to be backed up 100%......Im just tryin to raise some thoughts here and make people think about this whole situation and how this could work out so that everyone wins....I believe this is stricktly for the people of Iraq and no one else.......this is simply to restore wealth back to the people....us speculators and what we make off this transformation is just a side affect of that process....its not for us....they arent purposely saying lets make the US rich.....its just happens to be that many will benefit along the way of Iraq helping out their people.....we are a side affect and nothing more.....not a big deal to them what happens with us.....its for the citizens of Iraq and thats what this plan has been for since the beginning......it will happen.....we have the govt FINALLY making progress....Maliki is busy forming his cabnet...shouldnt be more then a week or so before thats done. We have articles of the border battle between Iraq and Kuwait finally being settled....Kuwait said they would accept and sign the currenct proposal as soon as its presented to them AND along with that they made assurances to Iraq that for this they WILL be lifted of the sanctions of CH7 when the deal is done. We dont have too much longer my friends.....this is the best part of the investment because its coming to an end....we are finally about to see what really is about to go down....whether we break even or whether we actually end up with some extra cash to deposit in our accounts.....either way this should be the most exciting time for us all.....I strongly feel that once we have these two things taken care of (the govt and ch7) that we will finally get the movement on the value of the Dinar that we have been waiting so patiently for. When it comes to these denom rumors, or ANY rumors, I choose to believe what makes sense. It makes sense that Iraq has to revalue their currency. It makes sense that it has to be done soon (REAL soon!!). It makes sense that the lower denoms must exist for this to happen. It makes sense that they would be top secret, along with the rate and the date. I choose to believe rumors that support common sense. Now when it comes to the things that cannot be known (ie, rate and date), I rely on faith. I have faith that the date will be soon. I have faith that the rate will be high. Just my 23 IQD (.02 USD)

Good morning ThankAVet. All of my personal calls I had (including my partner in Baghdad) and other close trusted friends yesterday, all state we are on track and things are moving forward. All I can share is what I know and details that have been confirmed. I have a full day planed with my new wife and will be limited. I promise make a few more calls and keep you up to date. I have no idea if Okie is who he says he is or not, but I do respect PP for sharing what he believes to be true. I once taught a Jr. High student who was working hard to convince the class that she was wealthy, and her dad was famous. She went to great lengths, inviting the entire class to a big bash at her mansion, etc..., only to cancel because her grandma was sick and dying. The game went on for a while, but eventually.......truth came to light. Some people are simply unhealthy and need an incredible amount of attention. If you play poker face to face you can learn to read individuals, play online and you assume you can read a person. On all these speculation sites you DON'T know these people first hand so you have to draw a educated opinion of someone. Your question is legitament but the answer is that we really don't know at this time. It is very possible and it would be the logical thing to do but there IS NO SOLID proof this has been done or going to be done at this point. It is the belief in many circles that the RV could happen with the announcement of the 2011 budget. We should know something soon hopefully. Hang in there.

My contact in Iraq told me that Maliki is already sworn in officially (we all knew this), however he will do it publicly Sunday to announce the New Iraq is back in operation and will be the next Economic Giant! I was told contracts are being signed and wages are about to be paid. Something to that effect. You get my point or picture. Great news. I think the puzzle is almost completed corner to corner.
