Good morning ThankAVet. All of my personal calls I had (including my partner in Baghdad) and other close trusted friends yesterday, all state we are on track and things are moving forward. All I can share is what I know and details that have been confirmed. I have a full day planed with my new wife and will be limited. I promise make a few more calls and keep you up to date. I will have someone post it for me. I personally feel it will happen Sunday or Monday. This is my personal opinion only based on what I am reading and hearing. As for now, I personally continue to keep the Iraqi citizens in my prayers and ask the leaders to do the right thing buy acknowledging and fulfilling their needs as one of Gods people. Everyone keeps asking about another conference call between us. Quite frankly I am hoping this historic event takes place before we get that achieved. My contact in Iraq told me that Maliki is already sworn in officially (we all knew this), however he will do it publicly Sunday to announce the New Iraq is back in operation and will be the next Economic Giant! I was told contracts are being signed and wages are about to be paid. Something to that effect. You get my point or picture. Great news. I think the puzzle is almost completed corner to corner. I would like to share something factual regarding this and former President Bush and his Administration. This is my opinion and this comment is constructed and structured on factual information. One of the main reasons for the US invasion of Iraq were to gain control of Iraq's oilfields (so as to keep the oil in the ground and drive up oil prices), to establish military bases in Iraq from which to dominate the Middle East and eventually (by controlling oil supply) to establish control over all countries dependent on oil, and (most important to the neo-cons Wolfowitz, et al.) to remove the threat to Israel posed by Iraq. Of course there were also other reasons; After control of the oilfields the next most important reason for the US's takeover of Iraq was that Iraq had begun to accept payment in euros for its oil, opening the way for all major oil producers to do this. Were this to happen then the euro would probably become the world's reserve currency, not the US Dollar. This would have a major negative impact on the US economy (would, in fact, cause the collapse of the US economy) and would also severely reduce its ability to pour money into its weapons programs. By gaining control of Iraq's oil the US can now refuse payment in euros, thereby maintaining the dollar as the reserve currency (though before many years it will lose this position if the European geostrategists succeed in their plans). I personally believe this was a brilliant plan on behalf of the US and thankful of the outcome. I regret the loss of lives that it took to save our economy, however I am proud to wake up each and every day and be proud to be an AMERICAN. God Bless and Happy Holidays to all. Steve

Very positive for the US. I am looking at the DOW, NASDAQ & S&P and all I see is numbers in the red due to the news about "China fights inflation" news in the financial sector today. This country will be healthier from an economic stand point. I am still proud to be an AMERICAN and do everything in my power to support this great country. The Planning and Development ministry stated on Friday that the 2011 budget gave priority to the electricity projects. "Gave" is past tense not "will give" or "is giving" priority.
