Take this for what its worth. I'm a college student and I was sitting in class today and this girl in my class starts talking about her dad which is in the military...she then starts talking about his rank (Lt. Colonel US ARMY) and trips to the White House and then she said he was in Iraq for 7 years. Now when I heard this I had to ask her a favor...to ask her dad what he's heard about the dinar! and she asked him right away. I asked him his opinion on investing in the Iraqi Dinar and if he thought it would revalue... He told me, "the dinar is a wise investment and A LOT of higher ranking officers are invested in it." He also told me when "the prices of oil go up AND they have announced the new Prime Minister"....the RV WILL come shortly after Now...im prepared for the bashing and what not, but for me it was an AWESOME confirmation from a higher ranking official. Now whether or not you want to believe me is up to you. But I thought that I would pass this along to the people who dont think this investment will pan out, and also to the ones who are leary about it happening soon. GUYS WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!! GO RV

Just saw this on DD's site. Just wanted to post for verification on the rumor, that was posted. When i was in Iraq. On my way home i was traveling through a base. i stopped by the military finance office to buy more dinar. and when i walked around the corner of the finance office I seen LONG lines of military personnel waiting in line to buy dinar. When i waited my time, they had just ran out of dinar. and the lady there told me that, it was their third time to run out that day. but more was on its way. while i was waiting for the delivery, I was talking to them, and she advised me that the military was now authorized to have dinar. and take it home. Please note, i know i may be bashed or different opinions, maybe it was base commander descretion to allow that base to do it, while others decided not to. but I have seen this with my OWN eyes. And to know of all the people who are afraid that this is a scam. Like some have said, banks have sold them, The US MILITARY finance offices are selling them. I don’t think the military would be having the soldiers, ENLISTED and OFFICERS alike to be spending money on a scam. Just my 2 cents worth. GO DINAR Iraq Firefighter

Not much going on right now thats why....we are in waiting mode.....we have been informed of everything going on so now its time to sit and watch it unfold before us.....and just to let you know Scooter is NOT a guru....he is very informed and talented in finding FACTUAL information that we should know about that leads up to what we are waiting for.....Gurus give rates and dates and have NO IDEA what they are talking about....thats the exact opposite of scooter......ChiefV and Phoenix arent gurus either....chiefv has just been over there serving in the armed forces and knows alot of people on the ground still that inform him of whats going on.....Phoenix also knows where to find good info but you cant classify him as a guru either....we dont have gurus here as a matter of fact....I would consider to be called a guru an insult to be honest.....look at all the other misinformed crack heads that spit out BS everyday.....those are gurus....none here on this site.....

Too many people get on here and bash people that have intel and news to share. What a lot of people dont understand is intel and news can change from minute to minute. Most want a rate and a date and dont want to do the homework and actually understand what is going on with this investment. I for one dont blame any of these guys for not saying a word. All of that and not to mention there really hasnt been anything to report on. Until the plan is ready to go, we wont see much. Now when that is, is anyones guess. I believe that noone really knows in advance anyways. Just sit back and enjoy the ride, and dont worry about anything. Let everything play out and watch whats happening. Oh and remember..... Well...if we think back to pre 9-11 President Bush's popularity was near an all time low...by shortly after the attacks of 9-11 his ratings shot higher that any President before! Bush's popularitiy an all time low, PLEASE, he hadn't been in the White House 8 months before 9-11.

I’m getting conflicting information to all the other information we’re hearing that this is imminent, stating we may not see a change in the valuation of the Iraqi currency until Q1 of 2011, so my expectations are now pushed back to the next tri-yearly UNSC meeting in February from the Oct 17th date I’ve been keying on since June. I don’t feel like getting into the specifics, as they don’t really matter. Take this as a “RUMOR“, as I can’t verify it. So, I will be placing it in the “Tidbits“ and “Rumor“ sections. Yes, this is my FIRST to be placing myself in this section. LOL! No one is immune. Here’s to hoping this information is wrong, and that ALL other information is accurate. If I’m being used to disseminate incorrect information, I’m sorry. It’s just too important for me to remain honest in both my excitement and disappointment here on the site. I’ve been told this DOES NOT impact the reality of this investment, only the timing. Furthermore, the value is said to only increase because of the delay, so please remain strong. Because of this information, I must unfortunately change my stance about “end of October”, as my heart says that it is no longer the case as I once believed. Okay, just talked with a very close friend who was on the phone with a currency trader (earlier today) and he said (the currency trader) the Dinar was on his screen in his Forex account and he was able to trade it if he wanted to. Said he watched it go from the low .50 centish to $1.72 USD. Again, RUMOR, just thought I'd put it out to see if anyone else knew any currency traders that could verify or debunk this info... Anyway, just sharing info, anyone want to bash mer for it... you can kiss my backside... rd out!

Thank You.... I want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery. I no longer open a bathroom door without using a paper towel, or have the waitress put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel. I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels. I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has happened on it since it was last washed. I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking one's nose. Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of trans fats I have consumed over the years. I can't touch any woman's purse for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public bathroom. I MUST SEND MY SPECIAL THANKS to whoever sent me the one about rat poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing. ALSO, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason. I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die for the 1,387,258th time. I no longer have any money, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program. I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa's Novena has granted my every wish. That is IMPOSSIBLE anyways. You cannot value your currency IN country and not out country. Currency is currency. Swiss franc is worth the same in switzerland or outside it. There is no such thing as an IN country RV.

Viper, I appreciate the insight you bring here. I also believe you have great intentions, so with that said, thank you for your posts and updates and hopefully you will contrinue to do so for the good people on here. I also have faith that the lower denoms are dispersed in the banks due to someone telling me they have pictures of the 1's and 5's. Again, this person I believe has great intentions and I trust his information. I have not seen the pic's due to a possible security breach but I believe it. Again, we are all here for the same reason and stress is high. Thanks again to you and to all that share information and it is up to us to process it and make up our minds if we agree with it or not. Some people will bash and some people will be grateful...at the end of the day, it's your word that you have to live with...... and I believe your word is true.

Hello. I have a confession. The happy-go-lucky personality has been hiding a secret. Up until now, it's worked fine, but now, things have changed. I've been unemployed now for almost 2 years. It's now getting real bad. I'm one step away from grabbing a piece of cardboard and begging on the streets. Savings is gone. IRA is gone. Stock portfolio is gone. Selling what little Dinar I still have isn't enough. Unemployment isn't enough and juggling is now catching up with us. Yes, I've hit rock bottom. I've lost my pride. Lost my dignity. Now I'm real close to losing everything. Never thought it would get this bad. Never thought that the automotive industry would crash so bad that GM would start closing dealerships and go to the government for a bailout. I'll still watch the forum, but after the conversation with the wife tonight, pretending to be happy isn't really an option anymore. To those of you that laughed at my off-the-wall posts, thank you. Let me be clear on one point, I think O is a pos but in no way do I think that his regime would orchestrate some sort of disaster. Would they take advantage of it? Yes. Orchestrate it? No.

Obama isnt a competent leader, so there is no need to worry about an October surprise.

In the event that you did not know we have terror threats daily and for your information we have the forces to check them daily. During the year following 911 you would not even begin to believe the actual attacks that were thrwarted for you only heard about the the lesser events. The October surprise is not a terror attack there are so many (special forces, yes specail forces) and every ATF government group on the groiund right now the terrorists cells and individuals cannot even exhale with out being surrounded by Secret Service, FBI, ATF Units and those special forces who just might be your sweet chummy neighbor, the new young deacon in your church, the maintenence man in your building or school or even the crossing guard disgusied as an old man. Nothing related to terror is coming in October. What you can expect according to the Almanac is severe weather and according to USGS some siesmic activity. Also I would look for a major change in your financail situation for the pendulum of the economy always swings back and that is due any moment. This is IMO. How interesting though that Phoenix would go from giving hope for the RV to removing hope and worrying DV Members. It just does not equate. No offense taken: My question has always been, why would the UN give anyone in the world a 2 day heads up notice that ANY currency exchange rate is going to change in 36 to 48 hours???? Especially in regards, as you have pointed out, to a large increase in value like the IQD situation. Investors could make a fortune off of this info (any currency pair) if it is true and predicts the currency futures 2 days in advance. I sure don't get it.

Seams a lot of people with knowledge of this investment come to this site first, but after posting get bashed off to other sites. I listened to one of those people last night on a CC and thought it was some for the most intelligent and informative info I've heard. People don't have to do crap and if they keep getting bashed soon they won't. Doing a back round check on someone WTF is wrong with people.

I would like to add my two cents in then......I am currently in the Military located near DC area, and am dating a gentleman in the Secret Service, assigned to the Pres Detail, he advised me back in 2006 that I need to get into the Dinar currency and hold till such a time to cash in. He told me that **** Chaney, Donald Rumsfield and GEN Powell had dumped thousands of dollars of their own money into the Dinar. A lot of the USSS have also obtained the Dinar and getting their families involved. I just came back from my first tour in Iraq, in Jan 2009, Military Finance was selling the Dinar at the local finance Office to encourage the Soldiers to make local purchases from the Iraqi's with the Dinar vs US Currency to support their own economy. When I received the US Stimulas check of $500.00 in Oct 2008, I went to my finance office and cashed it in and they gave me all Iraqi Dinars at $1.00 to $1140. IQD.....no questions asked. I brought home over $600,000.00 Iraqi Dinars with no problems. I will be heading back over to Iraq for a 2nd Deployment within the year, I may be taking back all my Currency and exchanging when the time comes thru the local banks personally. And then last night I heard a guy speak at church and he talked about it being the season for promotion and breakthrough! God does not forsake his people even though it may feel like he is silent. We wouldnt be fighting so hard if there wasnt a HUGE blessing around the corner. God gives us the strength and encouragment in times like these to keep us going until we reach our destinition. Last week I was taking a drive and listening to some praise and worship music and I felt like God was saying rejoice your breakthrough is here! I thought ya ya ok. lol Then at sundays service our pastor talked about rejoicing in the trials. He said we need to celebrate the process because it is misunderstood. It says in james 1:2 Count into all joy when you fall into various trials. He also said the key to breakthrough is how you handle the problem and to give thanks for what you have now and everything that comes your way has a good ending because God is in charge. Fear steals and reduces us to a person thats unsure of what God has for us. Trials bring fear...fear invites the thing which your most afraid of to come in. My favorite thing that he said though was this...when you have the atmosphere of the presence of God things start happening accidently rather than you trying to make things happen. It could be listening to praise and worship music in your car, playing it in your house for example. Joy brings breakthrough in all areas I believe. So just hang in there as best you can and things will change and it will be suddenly! I know we may not have the same faith here on this site but I find it important to share with others positive and encouraging things that are filled with hope and love. We all have made the decision to invest in the same thing here. Some of us had no idea how long the journey would go for (me 6 years) and the emotions that came with it. Its disheartening to see peoples opinions on this site good or bad get ridiculed and scolded and -minus minus minus. Seems like its becoming a joke. We are here to support each other not put each other down.

LET ME SAY THIS 6 MONTHS AFTER THE NEW DINARS CAME OUT IRAQ HAD A PM AND A GOVERNMENT THEY ALSO HAD THE CBI, CBI EVEN TALKED WAY BACK THEN (OVER 6YEARS) ABOUT THE RV BUT STILL NOTHING HAS TAKEN PLACE. SO IMO WE ARE STILL A LONG WAYS OFF FROM SEEING A RV.. I HOPE I AM DEAD WRONG BUT FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN OVER THE PAST 7 YEARS I THINK WE ARE STILL ON THE ROLLER COASTER FOR A WHILE.. Our military personnel need to be listened to, active or retired. They are on the front lines, they know what it is like. They can tell if leaders at home are behind them or not. With President Bush, there was no question. He was 100% behind our Military. President Obama leaves cause for doubt and to me that is troubling.
