The Council of Ministers discussed the Turkish bombardment on Iraqi territory and considered it a serious escalation and an assault on Iraqi sovereignty, and stressed Iraq's commitment not to allow any attack on Turkey from Iraqi territory, and called on Turkey to respect good neighborly relationship between the two countries and non-escalation and resort to mutual understanding between the two neighboring countries in solving the problem, Council of Ministers also called on Turkey to promote water releases in the Tigris and Euphrates signed by prior agreements and understandings between the two countries.

 

The Iraqi government confirmed its commitment to protect oil facilities operating in Iraq and to provide the appropriate conditions for Kiemhaboamalha without interference or disabled.

The Council renewed exert maximum effort to protect workers in the oil facilities and ensure the continuation of its work.

 

The Council discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took the necessary decisions, and that announced by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers at a later time.

Council of Ministers: We will reduce allocations higher grades early August

Council of Ministers stressed, that the reduction of allocations higher grades and staff of the three presidencies will be applied in the next August, while considered that the Turkish bombardment on Iraqi territory constitutes a "serious escalation and aggression" on Iraqi sovereignty.
