It's amazing how many people hear things directly from CEO's of banks...

All the pumpers and Gurus are good for is a good laugh. You can only laugh at how stupid they sound most days. It does provide some pretty good intertainment, bettter than the sit coms. This just struck me as funny.

Thanks for the post Jbar. But remember one bit of advice, whenever you see something that says, "the bank has doubled their in house cash", treat it as BS. It does not matter how much money the bank has in it when you go to exchange your dinar for usd. Banks are only allowed to have so much cash on hand, and even then they won't hand over a huge amount of cash to you as most transactions of large amounts happen electronically, ask you for an account to transfer it to or make you wait and set up an appointment with you in private away from all the other bank patrons, for security reasons of course. Either way, come RV time, whenever that may be, the amount of money that your bank has on hand is irrelevant.

My wife listened to a conference call from the "round table" two weeks ago. She and I both were laughing so hard that we could hardly hear anything. She stated, and I quote, "this is better than the bachelor." LOL!

Another possible scenario - Shabs is waiting for the movement of the USD to stop after credit downgrade so that - if IQD is pegged to USD - it comes out in a more stable position.

Another possible scenario - Banks are stocking up because if the dollar falls the regular Joe may be pulling out his cash to buy metals, there may be a run on the banks.

I hope your not pointing that at me. I copy and pasted this from another web site, and added a little humor at the end after I end quoted it. Later in the thread you should be able to tell that by my comments that I fully believe that this post was a BS post that I found humor in. Anyone that believes any of the crap that comes from the pumpers is STUPID. Use your head for something other than a hat rack. And to top it all off this is the RUMOR section is it not? Rumors are usually not the truth.

And the image of a bank full of employees making a mad dash for the bathroom is pretty funny, especially when OKIE is next in line to cash out.
