Completely agree on the prison part. I think they should all be more hardcore than they are to make people NOT want to be there. Give them 3 hots and a cot and make them work for it. -
Is this a crack at southern people or just a sarcastic joke?

I have solved my problem. Leave me and my family alone and I will leave you alone. Mess with us and there will be hell to pay! Problem solved. You want to solve the problem then leave the lawful citizens alone. Make gun crime punishments more strict. Make assault with a deadly weapon an automatic life sentence and not a slap on the wrist. That's what's wrong with our system. It's too relaxed on criminals. I think your first DUI/dwi should be big time punishment not just a fine. Rape someone and found guilty without a shadow of a doubt? Cut that sucker off and give them a straw. Found guilty of murder without a shadow of a doubt? Instant death penalty! Molesting of children? Well I think that should be death also. Start getting rid of the scum of society and society will behave better then maybe we wouldn't need guns. But none of that will happen because too many liberals and human rights people would throw a fit! To hell with the victims of the crime as long as the accused is allowed to be taken care of for the rest of their miserable lives while the person that was raped is looked down on by society for ALLOWING this person to do such a thing. Sorry bout the rambling but I've about had it with the democracy we supposedly live in! It's time to punish the crooks not the victims or the law abiding citizens -
Y'all got room for one more angry Texan on the front lines?

I never once said anything about violence in my response! I merely stated that if You don't like the way things are, there's the door! If you don't like your job or your neighborhood do you stay there or do you quit or move? Quit trying to change the way this country has been for over 200 yrs because you think your ways are better. Banning stuff is not going to fix the problem. Prohibition? Failure! Drugs being illegal? Failure! Drinking and drive being against the law? Failure! Murder being illegal? Failure! Must I go on? When are you going to get it through your thick skull? YOU PEOPLE are trying to fundamentally change the way this country, especially the south and Midwest, have been raised and taught and it's getting past the point of annoyance. Now it's pissing people off because yall are so damn retarded! Y'all think that everyone has to do stuff your way! NOT GONNA HAPPEN! Y'all wanna sit there and say "it's for the kids". My kids are safe with me! You wanna do something for the kids? Fix the debt this country is in then we will talk about what else we can do for the kids like better education and proper education not just what they think should be taught! Fix that then we can talk! -

It is not a law it is a right! And what's this "your people" ****? I'm so sick of YOU anti gun people trying to take them away from the law abiding people. If you don't like the constitution you have every damn right to get your crap and leave if your not satisfied with how this country was founded! I was ok listening to the arguing until you wanted to start saying stupid stuff like "you people". Planes and boats leave this country everyday and if you don't like how this country was founded, I suggest you pack your crap and get on one because I WILL NOT GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT I GAURANTEE THAT! -
Solution To All Our Problems---Sell Texas To Mexico
txcountryman replied to LIBoy's topic in Off Topic posts
Texans are not thin skinned. The reason you get responses like that is because Texans are some of the proudest people of their state than any other in this country! That statement is like us telling you to hand your daughter or son over to Mexico for their own use. There's a reason the saying is "don't mess with Texas!" -

If you commit a crime using a firearm amputate both trigger fingers. Rape? Well just give them a tube to pee through. Eventually people will get the idea. Then everyone will also know your a criminal and not to trust you!

Has anyone heard about the guy in San Antonio that was stopped by an armed security guard? If he wouldn't have been armed there's not telling how many people he could have killed. But guess what. Not a single person died! This happened at a movie theater/ mall. Google it. Nothing about it on the news SAN ANTONIO -- A man was shot by an off-duty deputy after investigators say he opened fire at a South Side theater Sunday night, injuring one person. Authorities said 19-year-old Jesus Manuel Garcia showed up at the China Garden restaurant on Southwest Military Drive around 9:30 p.m. Sunday and opened fire. Investigators say Garcia works at the restaurant and believe the shooting may have had something to do with the breakup with his girlfriend, who also works at the restaurant. The girlfriend was not at the restaurant at the time of the shooting. The employees inside the restaurant fled out a side door into the parking lot. Investigators said Garcia began chasing the employees and continued firing at them as they ran through the parking lot and into the Mayan Palace Theatre next door. As Garcia was running through the parking lot, he shot the windshield of a San Antonio Police patrol car after an officer in the car shined a spotlight on him. The officer was not injured. Garcia then ran inside the movie theater, where he continued his search for the restaurant employees. Movie-goers in the lobby, bathroom, and some theaters reported hearing multiple gunshots. The gunshots caused people inside the theater to panic. "Everybody was just coming out of the side of the theater, running out the emergency exits. And everyone was screaming and running," a woman who was at the theater told us. Authorities said one person was shot by Garcia. Garcia was finally stopped by an off-duty Bexar County Sheriff's Department officer who was working security at the theater. Officials said the officer, Sgt. Lisa Castellano, heard the gunfire inside the theater and ran towards the sound of the shooting to find out what was going on. Sgt. Castellano spotted Garcia coming out of a bathroom with his gun drawn and fired at him, shooting him four times. "The officer involved, she took the appropriate action to try to keep everyone safe in the movie theater," Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Detective Lou Antu said. An off-duty San Antonio Independent School District officer who was also at the theater helped take Garcia into custody. The man who was shot by Garcia was taken to a hospital and is said to be in stable condition. Garcia has since undergone surgery and is in stable condition at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). He has been charged with attempted capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond has been set at $10 million. -

and if they put a universal law in place it may take a few years before we see less guns in the criminals hands. But in the mean time honest citizens are unarmed an unable to protect themselves from the armed criminals. If someone where to break into my home they would find all my guns locked in a safe. They could take everything but the 500lbs safe that is anchored to my floor. I think mine are ok if I'm robbed when I'm not home -

Everyone that knew what was happening and stood by and did nothing needs to be charged with 4 counts of murder including Obama, Biden, Hillarious and anyone in charge of people that could have done something to at least attempt to save those Americans! -
An Arlington pharmacist is recovering from a serious beating after someone wearing a Halloween mask tried to rob him over the weekend. Rick Ray, who owns Arlington Pharmacy near Cooper Street and I-30, says a man wearing a Halloween mask barged into his business on Saturday and demanded pain pills. When Ray refused, the suspect attacked him with a tire iron. "He beat the crap out of me," Ray said, showing multiple bruises and stitches on his face. He was scheduled for more tests Monday to make sure there is no permanent damage. Ray tells FOX 4's Lari Barager he ran back to his office near a safe, and managed to retrieve a .22 pistol. Ray says he fired at the suspect and struck him -- before the man ran out the door. Police say the next day, someone checked into a local hospital with an unexplained gunshot wound. That wounded man is now a "person of interest" in the case. Ray said in his 40 years as a pharmacist, nothing like this has ever happened to him before. He believes the gun used to he protect himself may be the only thing that saved his life.

You know what I want from my government? I want it to quit taking my hard earned money and supporting the people of this country who do not WANT to work or feel the need for entitlement. I do not mind helping taking care of the disabled but it p¡Sses me off to shell out money for those to d@mn lazy to get a job! Now is the part where the liberals will say " well sir there are not any jobs available". THEN PUT THE PERSON IN OFFICE THAT WILL HELP CREATE MORE JOBS SO THERE ARE LESS PEOPLE ON WELFARE! What part of that statement does not make sense to people? By having someone in office that doesn't allow creation of new jobs prevents us from moving FORWARD. Now y'all wanna talk about medical. Ok well everywhere I have ever worked offered medical at least after 90 days. So why the hell do we need Obama care? GO TO WORK AND GET INSURANCE THROUGH YOUR EMPLOYER! Another simple solution to a problem that can be solved with getting a job. Now if we can get the deadbeats to follow that program then MAYBE we can start helping fix the problems with Medicare/Medicaid and social security. There again if you get a job, most of the time, you can start a 401k or other retirement fund and take some of the stress off of social security. Anyways my point of this is we shouldn't have to take care of the people that able to take care of themselves. There are jobs out there people are just to lazy to find them plus they figure that the govt will provide for them at the working mans expense. I'm sick of it!!!!! I do not mind helping people but you have to help yourself too!
