Thank you to everyone who voted for the tea party radicals.

This goes much deeper than the Tea Party. This represents the seriousness of the entire political breakdown in Washington. In my opinion, all sides are to blame. Unfortunately our representatives in Washington have become like spoiled children who seem, lately, to care more about their own private agenda's and sense of entitlement than they do about the well being of this nation. I want to make money off of this investment just as much as the next guy but if this is part of "The Plan", I'm not so sure it's worth it.

In a way it makes me envious of what Iraq is in the process of. Sometimes I think Washington is so broken it would be easier to just start over from scratch rather than try to salvage what we have.

Today is a very sad day for anyone who loves this country.

Some people would love to see us be a communistic country, some would love to see us be a socialistic country.

Then there are those that would love to see us return to our ROOTS as a Republic that has limited government.

I pray I do not have to move from the USA, but there are some places more free than here. Let's do are best to make the USA the freest place in the world again. :D

Seriously, what is limited government or when have either of us seen limited government. As your household grows so will your cost. That platform doesn't whole water. Government is here to stay and the monster can only get bigger and meaner. Hopefully leaner but people that push it to the limit will hurt it first!

We've had it too good too long. 9/11 was the turnaround on our soil. We weren't prepared to fight that kind of war. We were delusional and cocky to think about the cost 10 years later.

Perhaps you may have a different opinion when.....you cannot get a loan....or perhaps when the very large inventory of forclosed homes sits a bit longer.....or maybe the cost to fuel that bently your're driving,,,cost of food...milk...eggs....and that credit card you've been living offisince you lost your job.....just wait....you think that thing couldn't get any worse......Hide and watch! Tea Party is not just for Republicans. There are Independents and Democrats in the Tea Party which are just people that are smart enough to know when our country is going into the toilet and have the fortitude to stand up and try to change things. Ultraviolet, I have a couple of questions for you; and any other Progressive Liberal Democrat, and I do mean any, who would like to answer this question; or that is if you dare.

Please answer the question in a US Constitutional manner though, as the rule of law is based on the US Constitution. Show me where in the Constitution your answers are; and (being the Liberatarian that I am) I might even apologize for being rude to you Progressive Liberal Democrats.

Here goes the first.......... In regards to this question think in terms of Person A; Person B; and any Local, State, or Federal Governement. (Sorry to get technical, but my major in college was Political Science - Pre Law) What authoriity and/or right does any government have to take, or confiscate through forced taxation, Person A's wealth or hard earned wages as their own property and then give the money to Person B; when Person A has done nothing to owe money to, or to become indebted to, Person B? Remember, answers should be be Constitutionally based please?

Here is the second......... Alexander Hamilton, a Progressive before his time, believed in a centralized, powerful government controlling the states; and Thomas Jefferson, founding father and a brillant statesman, believed in a very small, limited federal government with all but two points of authority held by the states, which was protection of the borders of the United States and Interstate Commerce, which was the only authority reserved to the Federal Government; and that is per the US Constitution. Where is the authority given under the US Constitution, remembering to show written Constitutional proof and not proof through case law from some judge's personal opinion, where the US governement has any right to do any of the things it now takes with threats and the barrel of a gun today, with the exceptions of defense of the US borders (which it is clearly not doing under Obama's lack of leadership) and the regulation only of interstate commerce law between the states (not between the states and the federal government)? In other words, where is the authority given to the Federal Government for the mandates given to the states by the Department of (failed) Education, the EPA, the Presidental Czars, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Transportation, the Internal Revenue Service, confiscation of taxed revenue for Social Security, FICO,and all other manner and means of Federal taxes, confiscation of state of private property to convert to Federal Parks and Land, the Department of Parks and Forestry Service, etc? At this rate, I could stay at this for days. Where is the authority given for the Federal Government to have any other rights period, outside of federal border defense and interstate commerce?

You Liberals and Progressives answer those questions, and I'll play nice and won't call you Communists and Socialists (modern-day Nazis).

Everyone needs to wack up and stop playing party politics with the deck chair parties. The Democratic Party has been overrun with Progressives, and the Republican Party has been overrun with sudo conservatives (liberals from the 1960s who believe in soft tryanny socialism).

Let me reference the "REPUBican" John McCain. I am one of the hobbitts he talked about on the Senate floor; and there are more hobbitts just like me out there across the amber waves of grain and the mobile home parks of the brave.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! This thread illustrates why we have the problem we do. People are so busy blaming and fighting there is no chance of anyone pulling together and solving this. We're doing the EXACT SAME THING we are mad at congress for doing.

Hey, at least if the dollar tanks and the America we love is irreparably damaged we will have at least been RIGHT. Maybe we can take our pride and anger to the bank and use them as collateral for a loan, because we sure won't get it any other way if interest rates and credit go bad.

You are absolutely correct about Obama following Rules for Radicals, written by his mentor Sal Linksy. Everything is going according to plan. The progressives are like a cancer. They are killing the Republic of the United States. The Obamanites and Progressives are an Obamanation and need to be removed from this great country.

I wonder how people would feel if Obama got his way and created brown shirts and youth camps; just like the Nazis did in Germany. I've heard his speeches and the speeches of Obama's best buddies, Sal Linsky and George Soros. They have all talked about making this happen. Have you heard the interview were George Soros talks about the happiest days of life being his childhood when he was a brownshirt and worked for the Nazis turning in Jewish families, his own people, for execution and for the camps and gas chambers?

Progressives love George Soros. What does this say about them and what kind of people they really are? There is no way anyone can live in peace with people like this.
