I personally will only pledge to use about 25% of my blessing to create jobs here. This will be a minimum of 2, but based on my contacts and other resources this could results in hundreds of jobs after a few years.

I do plan to start a small manageable business and to hopefully employ some very hard working people and to compensate them handsomely for their hard work. I've already met several people in my life who have incredible skills yet, aren't getting paid what their worth. I also have some technology ideas and safety solution ideas for the workplace. Ideas that will make our jobs safer and more efficient. So...hopefully if it all works out, my personal investment will go far beyond the immediate reward that it affords me, but far enough to positively impact the lives of others.

It depends on what type of American you are. some think the American dream is getting a disability check every month because work makes you sweat and that doesn't feel good. Besides if you work the GOV won't give you free money and your oxy-codone would cost more. We couldn't have that............could we?

While all this wanting to do something to help create jobs here the bigger problem I think people should be looking at is what the root cause is that has driven all the jobs out of this country. While there are still many small businesses around there have been many and are many that are still being run out of business by big coroprate greed.

Other that the auto industry most all other big industry has been eliminated and shipped to other countries. Even the small businesses are being forced out just due to all the BS regulations being implemented against them. A lot of it is designed to run them out to allow more business for the bigger corporations to get that share, while even the bigger corporations are buying all the parts from foreign countries to assembly the products with.

I believe the first thing that needs to get fixed is all the government BS red tape they are creating by design for the sole purpose of running our industry and small businesses off by forcing everything to be imported here from foreign interests.

If you can use your new found wealth to fix the real problems by getting government completely out of the private sector that in itself will allow a mass explosion in new industry to come back and create good paying jobs for people.

Gotta fix the root cause before you can make anything better by just attempting to treat the symptoms and the root cause is found within the corrupt government with all the politicians selling out their country to big corporations and foreign interests.

The taxpayers are already doing this. Maybe more incentives for the private sector? How about welfare reform and mandatory drug testing for welfare recipients? How about bringing the troops home and taking the $2 billion per day and investing in preserving social security and Medicare? A few ideas to ponder.

Big companies has to stop sending jobs to overseas (call centers, IT, Bookkeeping..etc. etc.), compromises your privacy greed has no limitations...

Aren't we all Americans because we LIVE HERE in the USA? I guarantee you I am an American of the highest caliber, and I'll bet we have nothing in common about our American dreams.

You speak blasphemy about Disability. Know the facts about that compensation. It is NOT FREE MONEY. Some people have worked hard all their lives and paid into the system that gives them a pittance of compensation when they are most vulnerable. For all their years of contributions, the government has made billions of dollars in interest, and practically make the applicant jump through hoops to get any of it back. Those who have contributed their hard-earned dollars and who now ask for assistance due to injury or illness are struggling on the VERY SMALL MONTHLY ALLOTMENTS. That is certainly not the American dream they hoped for when they were able-bodied. You try living on $600 mo. or so. Not a very pretty picture, wouldn't you agree? Anyway, judge not that ye be judged. And, aren't we all our brothers' keepers?

I believe we all need to help each other. I am already providing work for many people through my 3 small businesses. And I also donate my time and skills to help others get new businesses off the ground, and provide free coaching for life changes. If I can help someone get off disability and into a job they can do with their limitations, I will certainly do that too. With or without RV.

the govenor in my state just passed this law. but as for the topic of the post opening a small business was in the plans for me and my wife, depending on the total gain when this rv finally does happen. but my family comes first over anything else.

I will promise to help out as best I can in creating at least ONE job opening if this RV's.....however, as of this minute, even though HOkie says it rv'd like every week for the previous 8-9 weeks, I'm down a few hundred dollars in this investment....and if the socialist Obama gets re-elected, my rental (read as: affordable housing) will be available too!!! :-)

You may be correct on what you state but what I think you replied to was, there are thousands of people in this country on disability that have never paid a penny into the system and in fact, their disability is a product of the system, in that it has allowed them free food to sit around and eat without working it off and they are now disabled because they are too obese to get around. All entitlements for nothing more than a stinking vote. So no, the OP was not directing his post towards people that really are disabled, just the ones that have found that as another way to ride the system and all perpetuated by the gov't. So before you go stretching the meaning of our Holy Bible, I think you need to understand where the OP was coming from and realize that entilements have pretty much caused the demise of this country and has also taken away the gumption and pride of the people that got caught up in the scheme of having their votes bought with mine and your tax money.
