My question is.....On the United Nations website I had read that the UN Security Council meets twice a year, in mid June and mid December to vote on matters such as Iraq's CH. VII status, how likely that any significant action takes place before then?? After Moon stated in Dec that Iraq was "on the right track", I think things are promising, but not until then....Your thoughts??

I asked this question before and it was deleted or ignored...My understanding is that the UN Security Council votes to implement or recind sanctions (chapter VII, etc.)....Also, that the UN Security Council schedules these votes for mid June and then again in mid-December....since sanctions weren't lifted in June, and a lot of us are of the opinion that sanctions must be lifted for any type of rv/ internationally recognized currency, then is it still realistic to even look for anything between now and December??? If so, why??? Thanks for all you do

Tripphood, Don't listen to an idiot like this....Iraq has a currency that has value....which has more value?? 100 pennies or 1160 dinar (give or take) ??? they don't HAVE to rv to be released from Ch VII sanctions....once they are released from CH VII sanctions, there's nothing that says they have to rv at all....they can be accepted into WTO with their currency right where its at....Vietnam's currency value is considerably less and they are members.....I will try to find the link again but, the next time the UN Security Council is supposed to review Iraqs sanctions and release there from will be mid-December.....I'm not banking on anything happening before then....I wonder if Obama can persuade an earlier vote, prior to elections???

Adam, thanks so much for the realistic forum to follow this investment opportunity.....since the UNSC only meets every six months to vote on the sanctions implemented against Iraq (&other countries), do you think that there won't be an RV until at least December 2012 if the sanctions aren't lifted at the June meeting??? Why do you believe Sept is an optimum window for this to occur??? Thanx!!

June is when the UN meets again to vote on relieving Iraq of the sanctions they're currently under.....Really don't see the UN meeting early on Iraq's behalf....so mid June is next best opportunity....

The UN votes twice a year......Iraq applied to have sanctions lifted awhile back.....nothing happened in Dec, so next vote is JUNE 15TH (not May)....this info is available through UN website....nowhere is it stated the sanctions WILL be lifted, just that its the next scheduled vote....if not now, it won't happen until Dec....oh, (h)okie will say its done damn near everyday until then, but they'll meet to vote again in 6 months....

So, let (h)okie come on here and spread his bs.....you spreading it for him, knowing it for the bs that it is, and you should get neg-ed.....deservedly so....this has been the only Dinar site that I have found that has been for the most part grounded in reality, without the its already rv-d in country and we'll be cashing in Monday, or maybe Tuesday, or possibly later, crap every week....

Thanks revbo, for a logical reply....I'm not selling mine and not buying anymore....why is it that any article or information that says anything at all about the dinar NOT RV-ing and everyone becoming overnight millionaires is bs and bogus lies??? I went into this remembering that anything that sounds too good to be true, probably is....the one thing I hold on to is there was a significantly greater accepted value to this currency before saddam and I would hope that it returns to THAT value....
