JayLee202
Iraq is screwing up big time. Now I'm beginning to wonder if these people really knows what they are doing? They really need some assistance over there.

bjdksl
In my opinion, they took the wrong turn when "m" got to be their PM once again. He did not RV when he was in before the election , what would make them think that he was going to RV after he became PM again.
easyrider
always knew it wouldnt takeplace there very unsafe conditions this DOES NOT surprise me one bit. ThePhantomRider
While I'm sure it really looked appealing to have the AS in Iraq, where it's held is not as important as it being held and what is discussed. Most were saying that having it in Iraq would pressure them to RV and show their neighbors they are ready to play ball, but really, if it's all about the summit, then no matter where it's held, the RV issue would be the same. Actually this misstep could (though speculative at best) provide even more impetus to get it done and save some face. TPR

tuxunder
You people are grasping at straws if you think the Arab summit had anything to do with the dinar revaluation. Make up your minds, is it government formation, budget passed, total eclipse of the moon, or Allah's birthday. Either it is going to happen or it isn't, these people are so f@#$%ed up it isn't even funny. The chances of any type of RV are a long shot at best to begin with so quick thinking every little setback has screwed up the RV, chances are they had absolutely nothing to do with it not happening already. 2
deenar
Maliki and the GOI will use the ME unrest as an excuse to........you guessed it, DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!! How perfect for them!!! Now they have a never ending reason to stall and stall some more. Sad.
ThePhantomRider
Why would you say that? So do all the work they have been doing up to this point to restore their country only to see other countries falling apart and decide..."Hey, that looks like fun, let's ignore our people some more so we can be the world leaders in that area..." As for what will trigger the RV, LOL, none, not one single one of us knows, that's why it's speculative. These events will probably not have any effect on what is probably already decided and just not implemented. If you ask me, with all the garbage happening around them, they could quickly become a jewel in the ME if they make a bold move soon. OnTheHorizon
Maybe they could hold the summit at Maliki's house. I'll bet it's pretty secure!
terr
Don't they need to do this before they piss off the Kurds again? Don't they need to do this before the iraqi citizens revolt, also? Don't they need to do this before China becomes #1? I really don't understand how this can keep stalling!!!!
frankc
So many people act like the RV is guaranteed. There is nothing in writing saying it will happen. There was never any guarantee there was going to be an RV. Betting on an RV is pure speculation. Accept that. 1
