WELLS FARGO CLAIMS NO SPREAD ?

Ya I'm a nubee, so I went to B of A, Chase and Wells Fargo a few days ago to see if there was any advantage to selling back to any banks some day. Wells Fargo claimed at this time--- that if I had an account with them that there would be no charge or spread. The reason I was given is they want the DINAR owners to keep money in their bank. $$$ for them? (at this time!)

Please check this out and see if I was lied too just so i would open an account with them. I did open an account ($125.00 for a ckng&svng) at Weels Fargo here in Grants Pass, Oregon as one of many things I'm doing to get my Ducks in a row with the hopes for a sooner than later RV. What is everybody doing to get their ducks in a row?

I'm not a pumper or thumper, so check into it-man. I love this ride nomatter what happens, GOD BLESS, GO RV, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Dinar-Darius 6:03 pm PST

Welcome Friend !! I did the same thing at Wells Fargo, opened a checking account up with them, they already finance my house and car, and the Bank Manager was filling me in on CDARS accounts ,so I thought how convenient to pay it all off, when RV happens, was told the same thing here in Nashville, about the spread, but that was then and i guess we will see, if they hold to their word, if not, ((( Hello Ali ! ))).. From what I understand, Dinar Trade can do a ledger to ledger transfer, in case Wells Fargo does not want to do a automatic transfer to the checking account..Good Luck and Go RVVVVV..

You were lied to no ifs ands or buts...banks make their money playing the spread...you can move your deposits the next day..I was a bank manager and can tell you it will never happen!

Fifth/Third charges $10.00 if less than 250,000 dinar are purchased. Example: Dinar are $.0010651 each, so 100,000 dinar are $106.51 + $10.00 to total $116.51. 250,000 dinar are 266.73 with no additional fee. My understanding is Chase bank charges nothing to cash in dinar. I will attempt to get additional information and post next week when I pickup my latest order of dinar.

go to Wellsfargo.com punch in 91356 in locations call tomorrow ask for Nir! I am too lazy to pay attention to grammer or spelling.

no actual Wells Fargo employee would come into a public site like this and make any kind of a statement at all regarding Wells Fargo policy

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for 10 yrs. Only certain branches even mess w/ foreign currency. Went to the one that handles foreign currency in my area, of course they dont do anything now because the dinar is not traded internationally. When it is they will charge a 4% spread according to the manager. GOOOO RV

My wife made over 30 calls to various banks in the area just to get some general information on Dinar exchange. I know that this is all pre-RV but the information seemed worth sharing. Personally I roll my eyes every time I read that a friend said that his boss has a dog groomer that knows a hooker that meet a guy that works out of some big investing firm. This is straight from my wife who made the calls. We are both no-bodies on the states, no political pull, no high powered relatives; just normal people like all the rest of you. Here is what we found out:

- One Well Fargo branch employee remember his boss said the word Dinar.

- No credit unions touch foreign money

- Another Well Fargo no info

- Zions Bank only deals in Peso, USD, Canadian Dollar

- Bank of America, UT no idea

- Bank of America no idea

- USAA will with a check valued in Dinar

- 5th 3rd Bank foreign exchange 1 800 number YES!!

-5th 3rd Bank physically in MO as of a month ago not any more in the St. Louis MO area

- Chase Bank as of a year ago no

Here is the actual email that she sent me.

***********************************************************

I physically went into the Wells Fargo branch and asked for their

branch manager, the loan officer said the branch manager had mentioned

iraqi dinar but didnt remember what he had said. I talked to the asst

branch manager she called the 1 800 # over foreign currency and was

told that they do not do anything with iraqi dinar in any branches. I

will check back next week when the branch manager is back in.

I went to a few local credit unions, I was told they do not deal with

any foreign currency at all not even euro, pesos or canadian money.

I went to the Wells Fargo by Albertsons they know nothing have heard

nothing and their branch Manger is out of town too.

The largest bank in Utah, Zions Bank, who is even over foreign

currency at the SLC international airport said they dont exchange

dinar and they have not. They did mention that they have had a lot of

people calling about it.

I called Bank of American Fork, UT, they have no idea about Iraqi

Dinar just that they dont and have not exchanged it.

Then I called a bunch of local branches and of course the answer was no.

Because most banks were telling me that Bank of America is the bank

that they get their foreign currency through and that contacting them

would be a good idea I called their 1 800 # for foreign currency and

was told that no they do not exchange Iraqi dinar for american money

and that was all the info she would give me, I asked if it could

change if the Iraqi dinar revalued and she said she had no idea, I

asked if she had been briefed at all about the Iraqi dinar and she

said no not at all.

I called USAA and talked to them about foreign currency since they are

banking and ins for military members...she said she personally hasn't

had anyone call about the iraqi dinar and that they will only take a

check for foreign currency so i asked if we had a check from the

central bank of iraq to deposit it into an account with them she said

yes...they do not take foreign currency at all, not even american

currency because most of their members are banking from far away, but

will take a check, it takes about a week to clear. The lady I was

talking to said it would probably be best if you tried to cash it out

in Dubai.

I called the 5 3 Bank (fifth and third) . I called their foreign

currency and talked with a lady who told me that yes they do exchange

the Iraqi dinar at any branch and that I would have

to call ahead and make arrangements for the amount to be exchanged and

that I would have to be there in person. Then because they are an

east coast bank she helped me find the closest branch to me in

MO....she transfered be to that branch, to the women in charge of

foreign currency and then that woman told me that a month ago they

changed their policy and that none of the St Louis Mo branches are

exchanging Iraqi dinar anymore and that to of exchanged it before I

would of had to of had an account with them for at least 30 days be in

good standing and that I could only open an account with them if I

live in a 200 mile radius. She had no idea what the other banks were

doing and if it was that way for the St. Louis MO area and she was

pretty sure all the other banks would be the same. She also had

mentioned that over the last 2 weeks she has had so many phone calls

about the Iraqi dinar...most from the south, TX and AL. At this point

it was late back east and I didnt call any other 5 3 bank branches. I

was very confusing since the 1 800 foreign currency has no idea what

is actually happening at their branches.

I called Chase Bank, a local branch, Cedar Hills, I asked for someone

who could help me with foreign currency. The gentleman was very

helpful. He told me that they get all their foreign currency from Bof

A and some from Wells Fargo...he also said that a year ago they quite

doing anything buying or selling Iraqi dinar and that it is on the

blocked list...BofA is the bank that supplied them with dinar. he

said that after it comes off the blocked list it can take months

before they will even exchange it since they need to make sure it is

secure before they can exchange...he also told me that they use to

have many people buy Iraqi dinar and that it would be best for my

husband to exchange it in Dubai or use something like western union to

send it home in American currency. He also said that when they

exchanged it before that it was a $5 fee for a non member and they

kept like 3%...

I dont know what to do it seems like there is no where that will

exchange the Dinar in the US for us...you may just have to do it out

of country.

oh just remembered I use to bank at US bank..they have a branch in PG

i will check them tomorrow. (She didn't family issues came up)

I don't know about Wells Fargo but Fifth Third Bank will buy your Dinar and Sell it to you as well. I just bought 1Mil @ $1065 from a branch in Union, KY last Thursday and was able to specify what Dinar notes I would like (they could not guarantee what I specified but said if it was available I would get it).

To me this is a good sign the Iraqi Dinar is being recognized and open trading is starting! If you guys want the number to call and check yourselves:

Hey, there's a good deal, for each $1 million you get in exchange of dinar, they will only take $40,000! Wow, sign me up........and, they might even waive the $10 fee!

Wise up folks, it's all in the "spread". ..........let's see, if I make $20 million, they only take $800,000........seems fair enough.

So your saying that the Dinar is a RECOGNIZED CURRENCY and is OPEN TRADING, All because you bought it from a bank that has been selling it? Wow....

I don't think so....
