On Thursday, Al-Rafidain Bank announced the details of small business loans.  

  

  

  

The media office of the bank said in a statement that “Nass” received a copy of it (September 29, 2022), “Al-Rafidain Bank issued a clarification regarding the period of repayment of small project loans amounting to 25 million dinars for citizens who own shops, workshops and other professions.”  

  

He added, "The loan repayment period is 6 years and an interest rate of 6%," noting that "the application for small project loans to citizens is through the bank's branches located in Baghdad and the provinces."

Al-Rafidain: Home loans amount to 150 million and are granted to multiple categories

Al-Rafidain Bank confirmed that real estate loans amount to 150 million dinars and are granted to several categories.  

  

  

  

And the media office of the bank said in a statement, "Nass" received a copy of it, (September 30, 2022), that "the real estate loans include employees, retirees and citizens."  

He pointed out that "these loans varied between the restoration and rehabilitation of residential homes, the construction of residential homes, which amount to 50 million, and the purchase of a residential house, which amounts to 150 million."

On Sunday, Al-Rafidain Bank issued a clarification regarding loans for restoration, rehabilitation or construction of residential homes.  

  

 

  

And the bank’s media office said in a statement that “Nass” received a copy of it, (October 2, 2022): “Construction loans amount to 50 million, and include employees, retirees and citizens, and they are in one payment.”  

  

He pointed out that "the repayment period of the 50 million loan is up to 10 years and at an interest rate of 5%."

Trade Bank of Iraq warns of fraud and phishing operations
  
{Local: Al Furat News} The Trade Bank of Iraq, TBI, warned against dealing with electronic links aimed at fraud and electronic phishing, while stressing that it does not deal with any party or institution that adopts the promotion of advances and loans.

The bank's media office said in a statement received by {Euphrates News}, "Please take care and caution when dealing with electronic links published on social networking sites and websites that aim at fraud and electronic phishing."

He added, "Its purpose is to obtain sensitive information such as electronic card details, user names and passwords for malicious reasons, or to make fraudulent purchases or access bank accounts," stressing that "the bank does not deal with any party or institution that adopts the promotion of advances and loans or promotion." Al-Rafidain: Legal measures against those who fail to pay the monthly installments of overdue loans

Rafidain Bank, on Saturday, called on borrowers to pay their monthly installments.   

  

  

And the bank stated in a statement that "Nas" received a copy of it, (October 15, 2022), "legal measures against those who fail to pay the monthly installments of overdue loans."  

  

"We call on borrowers to pay their monthly installments for the loans that were granted to them," he added.

The bank said in a statement that “NAS” received a copy of it, (March 8, 2023), that “in line with the government’s directives in activating electronic automation and moving from paper work to electronic in providing banking services to customers, the bank launched the electronic application for advances to employees and retirees via the electronic card.” .  

  

And he stressed during the statement that "applying for advances is by entering the application of the Rafidain Bank electronically on mobile devices, or reviewing one of the bank's branches to apply electronically for the advance."  

  

He pointed out that "the amount of the advance starts from 5 million to 25 million."

Al-Rafidain publishes instructions for electronic advances

On Wednesday, the Rafidain Bank issued a number of instructions for granting electronic advances.  

  

  

The bank said in a statement that “NAS” received a copy of it, (March 8, 2023), that “for the purpose of improving the provision of the best services to employees of state departments (permanent staffing), contracts, employees of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, and retirees, it was decided to grant advances with the guarantee of the Master Card and without a guarantor, according to the controls.”  

  

He added that the advance is submitted according to the customer’s desire through the following:  

  

- Visiting one of the bank's branches for the purpose of applying for the loan through the support center located there.  

  

- Entering the application of Al-Rafidain Bank and reviewing the procedures for granting advances and applying through it to female citizens whose salaries are exclusively on our bank.  

  

2- The branches will stop receiving and promoting manual grant transactions for those covered by the above loan, as the loan request will be raised on the borrower’s card by the General Administration of Al-Rafidian Bank, and a message will be sent to the accepted borrowers whose loan requests are accepted.  

  

3- The applicant for the advance is required to have a service of not less than one year with regard to employees of state departments and employees of the Ministries of Defense and the Interior whose salaries are at our bank.  

  

4- The amount of the advance is from 5 million to 25 million dinars, according to the borrower’s entitlement, which is commensurate with the amount of his total monthly salary and with the guarantee of the Master Card issued by Al-Rafidain Bank.  

  

5- For employees of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, officers of the rank of lieutenant and higher than those who are not nationals, their salaries were not granted to them with a Master Card, so the previous instructions related to granting advances apply to them, and they start from 5 million to 25 million.  

  

6- As for the retirees, it includes the original retiree exclusively, provided that his age does not exceed 73 years and that he has not exceeded the specified insurance age.  

  

7- It is stipulated that the deduction amount (installment and interest) not exceed the total salary on the borrower’s card.  

  

8- The term of the loan shall be 5 years at the rate of 60 months, and it shall be repaid in equal monthly installments.  

  

9- The interest rate of the advance is 5 percent annually, calculated using the straight-line method. The installments start to be deducted from the salary of the month following the grant date.  

  

10- Not granting the borrowed employee a clearance in the event that he is referred to retirement, and the following mechanism is followed:  

  

- The remainder of the electronic advance is paid from the end-of-service gratuity and leave accrual after submitting a written undertaking approved by the legal department to commit to payment upon completion of the retirement transaction.  

  

- In the event that he is not entitled to the end of service gratuity, the deduction of the electronic advance will be transferred to the pension.  

  

- In the event that the amount of the advance is transferred to the pension salary, the period for completing the retirement transaction for the retired person is not considered a period of delay.

The bank's media office said in a statement, received by Shafaq News Agency, "In line with the government's directions in activating electronic automation and moving from paper work to electronic in providing banking services to customers, Al-Rafidain Bank announces the launch of electronic submission of advances to employees and retirees via the electronic card."

 

He emphasized that "applying for advances is by entering the application of the electronic Rafidain Bank on mobile devices, or reviewing one of the bank's branches to apply electronically for the advance." 

 

He pointed out that "the amount of the advance starts from five million to 25 million," adding that "this procedure comes within the plan drawn up by the bank's management to contribute to simplifying procedures and overcoming routine obstacles that would impede the completion of transactions and the elimination of bureaucracy, nepotism, forgery, manipulation and corruption." seems to be similar to a bank debit card tied to the bank electronically and one has the ability to view the account online , iraq has had a system for retirees for a long time not sure if it went belly up or was a test project or this is something completely different ... cheers we wait
