Political researcher: 3 reasons behind the Iranian attacks on the Kurdistan region

Baghdad - people

A researcher has detailed a number of reasons behind the repeated Iranian attacks on the Kurdistan region.

Professor of political science and head of the “Burjan” organization for human rights, Sami Rikani, said in a clarification followed by “Nass” (September 30, 2022): “There are a number of reasons behind Iran’s targeting of the Kurdistan region, which are:

The main reason is to cover up the internal events, which escalated in pace and included more than one party or party of opponents of the policies of the ruling junta who entered this movement to denounce the continued failed policies pursued by the followers of Wilayat al-Faqih at the internal and external levels.

Drawing attention to the Iranian outside that there is a conspiracy against Iran and that the supplier groups in the region are trying to move the Iranian street with American and Israeli orientations.

And deliver a message to their regional and international allies who signed with them the economic agreements, especially those signed in the field of energy control and gas markets, which included other security and political agreements as well with the Shanghai axis after Iran became an official member of this agreement. The other agreement is on arranging the situation in the region from the security and political side, which includes both Syria and Iraq in the first place, and the message that Iran wants to convey to them is that it is exposed to conspiracies by the axis of America and its allies as a result of carrying out its tasks on their behalf, which requires them to help and support it in its policies because it is The closest and most capable point in dealing with the files on the ground in the Middle East, on their behalf, especially since the Kurdistan Region has become a magnet for the West and America and its leaders who visit it constantly, whether for economic, political or security reasons, which was the last agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the US Secretary of Defense Helping its foreign minister on security and economic cooperation is one of the results of these visits.

The researcher added, in addition to Iran's fear that the last coalition (state administration) led by its allies in Iraq will fail to form the government and take control of matters in the next stage, which Iran considers a strategic gain for it for the next stage, because the new alliance with the announcement of the agreement around it between The signatories, however, are incomplete and punctuated by obstacles, reservations and conditions, especially from the Kurdish side, which does not trust the promises of Iran nor the promises of its allies in Iraq after their continuous violations of their previous promises with them. Therefore, Iran, through its military operations, wants to put pressure on the region to push it to expedite the completion of the deal.

The Iranian ambassador in Baghdad will be summoned urgently, to hand him a strongly worded protest note due to the continuous bombing operations.

Oh. A strongly worded protest note. What are they going to do, make them write on the blackboard one hundred times "I will not bomb Kurdistan."

Way to show weakness. If Trump were still in office this would not be happening. Nor any of these wars going on now around the world.
