Yasser Watout told {Euphrates News}: "About 15 deputies who voted today are independents, and with this number, the number of independent deputies has increased by 15." He added, "So far, there is no statistic for the number of independent representatives, and what is being circulated about the presence of 60 independents is incorrect." The House of Representatives held an extraordinary session today, Thursday, in which it voted on the 64 replacement deputies, in the absence of 9 others.
