A news flash has been reported to me that Baghdad has paid the Kurds approximately 80% of their debt today.

The significance of this action is being researched for later details.…

....The last I heard on anything related to this....was that the Kurt's just paid Baghdad 1 trillion dinars out of a total of 5 trillion dinars...with a balance of the remaining 4 trillion being used as some type of negotiation leverage...

Is'nt it the other way around ? Baghdad paid the Kurds ?

....I read an article this morning that vaguely stated why....but indicated that the Kurt's had paid Baghdad 1 of 5 trillion dinars that were owed...There was speculations that the money was either for oil sells (per 'Laidback')...or either the larger '000' notes were being traded for the LD dinars (per 'Navira')...Either way, it was all speculation, but the article is on today's cursor...It posted by 'Navira'....
