Donald Trump 'not denying Russia was behind hacking campaign', says Priebus

After watching the deal this afternoon it appears Russia is hacking into the elections of France, Germany, Netherlands and is also responsible for Brexit. Not to mention the hacking and planting of Child Porn on various computers only to notify the local police later.......

Last week it was all 17 Intel Agencies and today Clapper says only 3 actually verified anything at all but of course they didn't actually have position of any hard drives or servers....They took the word of some outside commercial company for that.......

Then damn pesky Russian.....All I see they did was to help the DNC and Hillarious finally become Transparent in the fact they screwed Bernie, rigged the election and lied about everything when they got caught...

Just my 2 cents worth.

Karsten, great response, but as some here will tell you, this is nothing new for any major government. England, France, Germany, Russia, Israel, Turkey, India, China, the list goes on and on, including the good 'ol US of A, are all in the spy business. We all live under a microscope. I find it amusing, when it comes to politicians forgetting they are the ones who set-up these systems and then get caught by them. That is truly amazing.

Do they really think they are above reproach? Are they so stupid and out of touch that they do not realize the devious plans they put into action will eventually be used against them? Yup.

Did the Russians help Trump win? I couldn't tell you. Will Trump or any other politician ever admit they didn't win on their own. Nope that would be political suicide, so Trump saying it had no impact should not be a surprise. Had Trump lost he would be yelling fire, same as the left is doing now. The election is over and being united, we all must move on.

It doesn't matter who hacked who, all that really matters is that a foreign government is hacking our nation. That is the fact everyone should be upset about.. So, I don't care if you lean right, left or are a moderate, first be an American and shout it out at the top of your lungs. You don't hack America and get away with it!

BA, I for one was quite upset to find out our government was hacked by a foreign government.  When it was revealed in 2015 that China hacked the Office of Personnel Management database and compromised 22.1 million federal workers, it was an outrage.  Or at least it should have been.  My oldest daughter received a nice letter stating her information was compromised (she worked at the VA) and that she was entitled to a free year of credit protection (meaning after a year she was on her own).  THAT was indeed a hack of our government that deserved a response.  So what was our government’s response?  

The DNC is not part of the government, it is a private entity.  Any hack, by whomever the hacker might be, would not be able to access any government information from a DNC server (unless it was in Hildabeast’s basement, but I digress).  Why has Obummer reacted so differently in the response to the real hacking of our government by the Chinese vs the Russian “hacked election” fake news?  Other than attempting to save face or score political points I can’t come up with an explanation.  What would you reckon the reason for the different responses to be?

RV. I am truly sorry to hear about your daughter. That is a disgrace. I wish I could answer that response outside of it being political. Sadly I cannot. There hundreds if not thousands of examples of our government showing disregard for it's citizenry. It seems our government has been the puppet on a string for as many years as I can remember. One of my earliest memories of understanding the corruption came in the 70's. I was watching 60 minutes during the oil embargo and there was a sheik being interviewed explaining how our government, and I quote "was bought and paid for". I'll never forget that moment. It was like dumping an ice bucket over my head. I was shocked, bewildered and pissed-off all at the same time.

As far as government hacking, foreign or our own government. When we were caught hacking Germany a year or two ago, no one, especially the American public paid any attention. 

You reap what you sow.
