This meeting is a NON Event with Maliki. Bakhtiar has to talk to more than one party represented which there are several. Here is something on Bakhtiar: (Google him for yourself)

Mullah Bakhtiar, Chief of Executive Body of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Polit Bureau, participated in National Congress of Kurdistan held in Brussels on May 25, 2013.
Mullah Bakhtiar delivered a speech and said that the Kurdish unity was a priority above everything else. He said that the Kurds should also have a united national strategy.
Mullah Bakhtiar also said that it was a crucial time for all Kurds and asked for stronger unity. He also asked for the release of Ocalan. He said that Ocalan has spent 14 years in prison and it was time for him to be released.
National Congress of Kurdistan started in Brussels on Saturday, May 25, 2013. A big number of Kurdish political parties, politicians, and guests have participated in this conference.
A PUK delegate headed by Mullah Bakhtiar Chief of Executive Body of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has participated in the congress. He gave a speech representing the party.
The conference would cover the rights of women and future strategies for Kurdish cause. The congress would last two days. It has its own importance since Brussels is a big world political center.

And this was really interesting:

Abdullah Öcalan (/ˈəlɑːn/ oh-jə-lahn;[2] Turkish pronunciation: [ød͡ʒaɫan]; born 4 April 1948), also known as Apo[2][3](short for both Abdullah and "uncle" in Kurdish),[4][5] is one of the founding members of the militant organization theKurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in 1978 in Turkey.[6][7]

Öcalan was arrested in 1999 by the Turkish National Intelligence Agency (MIT) with the support of the CIA in Nairobi and taken to Turkey, where he was sentenced to death under Article 125 of the Turkish Penal Code, which concerns the formation of armed organisations.[8][9][10][11][12] The sentence was commuted to aggravated life imprisonment when Turkey abolished the death penalty in support of its bid to be admitted to membership in the European Union. From 1999 until 2009, he was the sole prisoner[13] on the İmralı island, in the Sea of Marmara.[14] Öcalan admitted the previous violent conduct of the PKK,[15] but says that the period of armed warfare was defunct and a political solution to the Kurdish question should be developed.[16] The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has resulted in over 40,000 deaths, including PKK members, the Turkish military, and civilians, both Kurdish and Turkish.[17]

I bet this is something like Maliki trying to puff himself up to look important again by brokering a deal with the Kurds... I hope it blows up in his traitorous face...

***///

It's sure to... the evil maliki has abused The Kurds to the nth degree and they have a long memory.

Not that The Kurds need it, but we sure wish they'd use him for target practice.
