Timothy McVea was a conservative, a Christian and he blew up the Federal building with children in the building.   Should we have deported conservative? Absolutely NOT.  Should we have deported CHRISTIANS?   Absolutely NOT.  In my opinion, it is the same circumstance(s) just different religion(s).

McVeigh was raised Roman Catholic.^[89] During his childhood, he and his father attended Mass regularly.^[90] McVeigh was confirmed at the Good Shepherd Church in Pendleton, New York, in 1985.^[91] In a 1996 interview, McVeigh professed belief in "a God", although he said he had "sort of lost touch with" Catholicism and "I never really picked it up, however I do maintain core beliefs."^[89] In McVeigh's biography American Terrorist, released in 2002, he stated that he did not believe in a hell and that science is his religion.^[92][93] In June 2001, a day before the execution, McVeigh wrote a letter to the Buffalo News identifying himself as agnostic. However, he took the Last Rites, administered by a priest, just before his execution.^{[94][95][96][97][98][99]}.

We cannot shut down all mosques in the U.S., freedom of religion remember. Is it not already a Federal Crime to plot to attack, or plan to over throw the U.S. government? Choose to enforce this law Mr O. In fact enforce all the laws in the U.S. Make it a Federal Crime to preach violent Jihadisim! With a mandatory sentence of 10-25 years. With an additional 2 years for every occurance of similar preaching while serving your sentence. Then prove up cases against the guilty only, arrest and convict them, sentence them. When proving up your case, make it a streamline process to obtain warrants for bugs, wiretaps, and hidden cameras. Send in operatives to get eye witnesses also. Offer them deals for deportation back to their own country, before a trial. When they choose the trial and are ultimately convicted, deport them after their release.  Something like this may work well. JMHO. This can evolve from here to something more detailed.
