Isn't "corrupt politician" generally a redundancy? 

 

When describing politicians, the only time you need an adjective is to describe the occasional politician who has fiscal probity. Then it is appropriate to state that the person is an "honest politician," to distinguish from the normal kind.

That's only in America where they cover up their thief so well. Everyone knows they are thieves but proving it is difficult.

 

In Iraq they are not as practiced & you can actually prove they stole by following the money!

I wonder if any actual good, altruistic politicians have ever cheated or scammed their way into positions just so that they could purposely do as much good as possible once appointed to try and combat all the corruption and damage that bad politicians have done...
