We need to be thankful that Adam doesn't have a cruel streak with his April Fools jokes. Amazon published a fake start page yesterday with a retro look from the nineties. I spent a couple minutes looking for the link to my account, and finally just clicked the page and it transformed into their current page. I wasn't amused (and from the comments I have heard from others, neither were they). Adam, like Amazon, could have published a fake intro page to the entire site. Easy to do, and spectacularly effective. But I suspect that it might have caused a heart attack for more than "a couple old ladies" (see SgtFuryUSCZ above). And I don't even want to think what would have happened to Freedomwish.

You tell people you've purchased dinar? You are very brave. I applaud your fortitude. -
Danke, Adam.

Economist: "Prosperity Is Coming" To Iraqis !

I should have written, "I got a text message from a friend that stated it is supposed to happen Monday. However, I remember getting similar texts last year, and the year before, and the year before . . ." (and some of you could add a lot more years to that line). -

Waxing poetic. Who knew Abadi could make a packer fan into a poet? Thanks Adam.

I've done a lot of research on dreams (some with my eyes open). Numbers are usually highly symbolic (e.g. some of the numbers in Daniel's dreams), or if the numbers aren't symbolic, the thing to which they refer often is (the butler's three cups, the baker's three baskets; both represented days). Sometimes they are just homophones (don't stumble on that one), and refer to words that sound the same. That's my preferred interpretation of the dream (I didn't say the right interpretation, just my preferred one): Interpretation: 1-4-3/one-for-three Application: One dinar for three dollars, or one dollar for three dinars. I'm betting most of us would be happily stunned by the former, but gladly accept the latter. Just one minor caveat. Our own desire for something can skew our interpretations. Too bad, I liked that one. Keep dreaming VanessaL4100!

Thanks Adam. It isn't that Florida can't count, it is just that we respect each vote so much we count them several times.

Thanks Adam. Appreciate it.

Thanks Adam.

Nothing quite as stimulating as translating a little Xenophon before breakfast. And BTW, they don't make high schools like that here anymore. Imagine learning the Greek classics, in Greek! Ouch.

Greek is easier: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon . . . Thanks for posting this information. Very helpful.

Sounds like a fun night, though I would opt for coffee on an all nighter. -
As a Floridian, I can tell you that we do things a bit differently in Florida. Plus, we have lot of tourists, though I haven't seen a lot of Iraqis lately.

I know I do not have to post a picture, but thought I would see how to post a picture. Looked around for a while for the browse and upload, finally realized I needed to press the "More Reply Options" button . Once I figured that out, I grabbed a small bill: Then I grabbed a pretty one: All in all, a wonderful technological experience learning a new interface. -
"Oh mye," that is pretty funny OhmEye. But to your point: Adam has the credentials, and the balanced history of non-hype to make him worth hearing. That is how I understood stealthwarrior. People with credentials and experience are worth hearing. That, really, is the response of the humble. That doesn't mean we automatically accept everything they say (that would be religious), everyone must do their own due diligence, but it does give us a propensity to trust their opinions. People without credentials and experience, who have demonstrated again and again that they have inaccurate information, are not worth hearing. The only people who listen to them are the uninformed or the gullible. Fortunately, this site has a different record than that. That is why we are all here.
